I am very disappointed with me recent Confused.com experience, with particular regard to home insurance. Having enetred all my details I was presented with a list of quotations from various insurance providers. I selected the quotation of my choice, which was with Hastings. I was transferred to the Hastings Direct site, where to my surprise the quoted cost suddenly increased by £47 from the quoted price given on Confused.com. Not happy with this I eventually managed to get through to Hastings via a contact tel. number and got to speak to a human being, who went on to tell me that the price you see on Confused.com is only a guide only. You will only know the true cost of what you need to pay once you are on the providers website and just about to pay!! This is an absoloute load of b...........s and a complete waste of 2 hours of my life that I won't get back. Thankfully, I did not continue with Confused.com and purchased my home insurance via. Money Super Market. The price I was quoted on the Money Super Market comparison site was the price I paid the provider and there was no inflated rate surprises. My Hasting experince makes a complete mockery of the Confused.com comparison process and I will not be using Confused.com ever again in the future.

We were trying to insure a house that is unoccupied. We were honest in our answers but the offers that came up disappeared once we clicked through to the insurer. It feels like the site should have steered us to specialist insurers or at least indicated that we were unlikely to find anything.

I booked and paid for my holiday insurance with Admiral with confused.com and didn’t receive my policy although they took the money out of my bank. I couldn’t access it on holiday because they didn’t send anything at all to me. Trying to access it on Admiral couldn’t be done because without a policy number it’s impossible. Fortunately I was lucky because nothing went wrong!! I am a breast cancer survivor and have high blood pressure. Never again!!

If you are a blind person having to use a screenreader and the keyboard to get things done with Confused, you will be wasting your time. The Website is not screenreader-friendly. Amongst other things, the "Buy" button to be taken to the insurer's site and make your insurance purchase has not been coded to accept keyboard input rather than a mouse click. I have been telling Confused this for nearly 15 years but it's like talking to a stone!

I took home insurance out from your site and you wouldn't help even after i took it out as I had no communication from them as I'm not happy as i even paid the first installment to them i think they was called one click home insurance

Having gone through all the questions and being redirected to a real person, who, more or less, asked the same questions we were turned down. A waste of time, having been with current insurers for about 48- 49 years. Our insurance premium went up dramatically, having made two small claims last year, so I thought I'd shop around. Moral is - don't make small claims!

despite filling out the questionnaire and on it stating an expiry date given until X trying to complete by unable to. yes it does price can say in parts buy now to secure as prices can move, WRONG why give a dare by the warn you as possible changes, between you and ins companies get it sortedm seems to be a scam

Website and app did not register my insurance so did not get to claim my reward and customer service were of no help,still waiting for someone to get in touch about £20 voucher. Waste of time ,spent a whole morning trying to get it sorted.
