Gets costly when we try and tweak monthly and yearly prices for the same date range and length or try and do search more than once.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience using Confused.com. While the site initially displays what appear to be competitive quotes, these do not reflect the actual prices offered by the insurers or brokers. When I selected the cheapest quote shown on their site, the provider either cancelled it shortly afterwards or redirected me to a phone number. Once I called, the broker gave a much higher quote than what was originally listed online—sometimes hundreds of pounds more. This practice feels misleading and wastes a lot of time for customers who are trying to find accurate and affordable insurance. Transparency and honesty should be the foundation of any comparison service, but in my experience, Confused.com failed to deliver either.

Joanne did not request a quote. You got it wrong and a complaint has been filed however you said I would be contacted today. Again this did not happen. I believe your site did make a mistake and then attempted to make it right /wrong by jchanging the contact .

Quotes will always be in the name of the person added to the quote form and whilst quote details can be amended confused.com do not administer your policy so there is no way we would have been able to retroactively change the name on the policy you hold with your insurer. Tried to buy car insurance from Aegous, went through all the steps but was not allowed to complete the transaction despite trying three times. No good being offered good deals and not being allowed to take advantage of them.

You sent me on a waste of time as you did not use my true details with 1 year no claim you put seven years into your account and the price rise to about the same as my insurance company. Where did you get over 7 years from ?

Given a quote went to provider to pay to be told wouldn't insure so what's the point of answering all questions then search choose a quote to be then told at last minute it's not available why put the price up on the search it's misleading

Sorry so confusing to renew when you have to explain what happened if you were involved in accident by third party not your fault, and there insurance accepted full liability it feels like l am being penalised lm sure? Thanks!

Initially you quote us a lowest price and that is a ploy to lure us, the public, to call you and then you increase the premiums the next day or the same day AND THIS IS DONE WITH YOUR BLESSINGS. You make the public to call you so that you can earn your commission by quoting fictitious lower prices and the ammened price is nowhere near to the original quotation price. THIS, I CALL CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS. You never give out the promised rewards. I've insured my car and my house for at least 3 years, if not more, so that is 6 occasions but so far i havent received any of my awards nor promised coffees. If you are genuine give them to me NOW.

I buy my car insurance through Confused.com every year through another cashback site. And I’ve always received my Confused.com rewards of coffee vouchers and a gift card. However, this year with no warning this is no longer available so there is no reason for me to continue to use Confused.com.

I took out car insurance with Nutshell not knowing that you had taken off my mother as a named driver...it was then £200 more so I cancelled the policy, this was in 5 - 10 mins of taking out the policy. This cost me £25.... absolutely horrendous & disgusting! Fuming with the whole experience!
