Offered any good deal but wouldn't insure me because I didn't take all the extras. First 5 quotes were from 1st central then it jumped to crazy money with having more than 10 nc

Every comparison site I tried gave me a quote I could comfortably afford when transferred to the companies website the price increased by £100 in some cases. I gave up and went direct to a website and got insurance at a reasonable price.

When trying to call top insurers just clarify one point i could not get through on phone and was left holding. I ended up renewing with my existing insurer as I got through straight away. Was holding for swift cover for over 10 mins and was told I could not speak to them on phone (auto message) I imagine this will put a lot of people off if they are difficult to contact

I was told on Friday a car insurance quote of £392 will be kept for 3 days until Sunday but when I went to buy it on Sunday it was changed to £411. I am not very happy being tricked.

Quotes I received were for a car I got rid of 10 months ago. I didn’t realise this until I’d accepted a quote on a policy for the wrong car. Lesson for me to look more closely at what confused.com were sending to me.

Pushy - sent too many e-mails - proved to be a nuisance ; the headline price was nothing like the eventual cost. Utter waste of time - I would never look to use them directly.
