“Provided the best quote out of all the comparison sites. However, after taking out a policy, I checked to confirm my occupation was recorded correctly and had to pay an extra premium saying I would need to amend. On confused.com under occupation it said to enter what you predominantly do; I am retired but now invigilate exams for approx 10 weeks of the year (only about 10 hours per week), so I entered Retired as my occupation. The confused website even gives an example where a "Houseperson" who works 5 hours per week part time should enter their occupation as Houseperson. Nutshell, who I took the policy out with, said this was not correct, and should have entered Employed. It would be beneficial if Confused either gave extra options on their site, correct guidance was given, else you may take out a policy where your details are incorrect, or you end up paying extra”

“Was able to get insurance for my new car at a great price from the AA. They themselves were not able to insure me for some reason, but I was able to do it through Confused. That part does not make any sense, but I am happy to have the option of a comparison company.”
