very poor, travelled 2.5 hours to buy a car that had management warning lights come on 5 miles from garage waited 5 weeks for returning funds and now there check had bounced on me be aware this company might be going under do not buy from them

Very very disappointed with this Company, been with them for 20+ years, they send a renewal invitation in November last which was horrendous, sought Insurance elsewhere at a quarter of what they quoted. And interestingly enough not had any contact from them. So you are only a number on the top right of the Invitation, loyalty today means absolutely NOTHING

Had no joy with this company after spend ing small fortune on cover settle cliam that was not my fault with out any update or to disscuss with me worst company to deal with if anything goes wrong will complain to the right athourites and make sure that thay to things above board very shady company

Absolutely worst taxi insurer ever had , be aveare of Dean he charged me over £100 more than should try to call him for 5h and with no result even when I spoke with lady she said " her colleague are on the phone with him and he will call be back within2 min" never happend, spoke with over 10 people from that company and noone could help me at all when, I ask to speak with manager he didn't respond.

Worst claims department I have ever felt with no comunication with one another no emails sent or call backs to update with case still waiting on my work car to fixed they haven't even called the third party to tell them I am going through insurance been stressing over this for 3 weeks and they still have done nothing to calm my stress don't insure with them this will be my last year with them never again they are cheep for a reason

Worked here for 8 years for Shirley Bellamy I had to leave because of her constantly putting me down saying nasty things constantly I would not advise working here especially because of her everyone else who worked there were lovely shame I had to go because of one person.

Terrible, terrible company. Lied to me constantly, either that or one department does not talk to the other and is in dire need of retraining - one person tells me one thing to give me positivity then someone else contradicts that info, and in effect since Jan, absolutely nothing has been achieved and when i ask for details to chase this case myself i am refused info and given vague answers.

I didn't think my stress levels could reach this high. Still waiting for a claim to get sorted from January after a police car hit me. Disgusting people/insurance brokers with no consideration for their customers. It's been the worse experience with an insurance company in 30 years of driving. Constant patronising and lack of interest in getting my case sorted. I wouldn't insure a pencil sharpener via them. There should be regulations in place to stop this. 100% if they were waiting for money from me then the case would be resolved a lot, lot quicker. Avoid this company at all costs. Date of experience: 28 January 2022 I am assuming you use reviews.io in the staff email signatures because you can’t put trust pilot or google reviews since they are the most honest and reflect the true feedback for Clegg Gifford (very bad) whereby reviews for review.io are sent to those that you know will give good feedback. Again, highlights what type of company Clegg Gifford truly is.

I absolutely advise against anyone and I will definitely not use this incompetent insurer myself !!! A week of waiting time for NCD confirmation to insure the van elsewhere as here I did not get an offer to extend for another year. I am out of work for a week without a van !!! Incredible ignorance. So far I have not received a confirmation and if I lose my contract due to my absence from work because I am no longer a reliable contractor, I will apply to the court for compensation for lost days at work and loss of contract

Absolutely the worse company I've ever felt with they have done nothing but lie to me took out a policy 2 weeks ago an cars still aren't showing everytime I call they apologise an say they will be on today. Avoid these at all cost. I've had a policy for over 5 years worse thing I've done is go with these clowns.

Once again had a email missing You lot said been sent but not received a call would of been nice So once again left till last minute so had no choice to agree on a new price then tryed to call give you options Then more options Then more options Then more options Then more options Then on hold for ten mins When got threw not much help

I don’t know about 80% of the reviews on here but they are complete and utter rubbish. Chased this company for absolutely ages trying to get an insurance quote yet nothing but lies to call us back and dragged it on. Avoid at all costs they will just waste your time completely.
