We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Beautiful hot chocolate - really hard to justify paying almost £10 for a tin though considering it doesn't make a huge number of hot chocolates. =(”

“The flavours were quite strong and some of the chocs were beautiful. Sad that the nutmeg flavour couldn’t be located. Less wasteful packaging but not easy to remove the chocs we felt. Have won lots of awards and very authentic - not entirely convinced I’d go for them again but that’s not a criticism. Very swift service - very pricey we thought.”

Thank you for your thorough feedback! You just need to remove a cardboard grid if you're having difficulty extracting the chocolates from their box - it's designed to try to stop them flipping in transit, but is easily resolved. Don't forget that we use Raisetrade chocolate (better than Fairtrade), our chocolates are hand-crafted, hand-decorated and hand-packed in plastic-free packaging. As well as that we're ethical, human (no robots here), palm oil-free, a small, artisan company and we think we're worth every penny 😍️

“Excellent chocolate! My only criticism is that the boxes are way bigger than the amount of chocolate inside - which is a bit embarrassing when you give something as a gift and it turns out to be very small!”

Thank you, we're so glad you love our chocolate. Because we don't use any plastic in our packaging, our kraft boxes need to be big so that we can cushion our hollow creations in food-safe tissue to avoid damage in transit. Our website states weights and sizes of items and boxes so that everything is clear.

Thanks, we're so glad you enjoyed the flavours. A pleasing snap to our chocolate shells shows that they're made using fine quality couverture chocolate which has been well tempered, and is generally the preferred choice for filled chocolates.

“A selection of Chococo hot chocolate drinks bought for a discerning friend who loves her hot chocolate. Good communication & delivered ahead of EDD. However, my friend said she had to ring the Company to ascertain who'd sent them whereas I'd requested a brief message be enclosed.”

“Exceptionally good chocolate, albeit pricy. The only reason I'm not awarding 5 stars is that we were disappointed by our recent order of chocolate-covered orange segments. There was far too much chocolate to orange, not at all what we were expecting, and my sister made a far superior and more refined version! My only other gripe is that they didn't switch carrier before Christmas, and our named-day delivery very arrived late as a result.”

Thank you, we hope that next time we'll be able to far exceed expectations to make up for it. We should mention that preferred delivery dates aren't guaranteed, so even with without Royal Mail strikes, we wouldn't consider one day later than requested as 'very' late. Furthermore, we should mention that we did use an alternative carrier in the lead up to Christmas, but at the time of your order there wasn't an express service option available.

“We bought a "Giant Assorted Festive Chocolate Hamper" as a gift for friends. The Hamper was sent direct to them as we no longer live in the UK so we did not have the opportunity to see it before they received it. Delivery time was exactly as promised and our friends told us they were delighted with the variety & quality of the contents. So can't give ratings on the product based on personal experience but I reckon our friends' comments are enough to merit close to top marks!”

“Ordered a gift as well as some flakes for hot chocolate. The drink turned out absolutely amazing, and is now my new favourite. The package arrived a little bit squished and the tin had a big bump (adds character and still works so doesn't really matter to me). The box for the gift I ordered was also a bit damaged. Other than that, it was all good. Lovely!”

Thank you, it's great to hear that you're a convert to Chococo hot chocolate. Sorry about the packaging getting a bit damaged in transit though. We can assure you it leaves us in perfect condition and we pack everything securely without using bubble wrap or plastic, but we love that you have a 'characterful' tin 😍️

“Really nice products and well priced compared to the direct competition. My only real issue was that less than 6 hours after placing my first (not inexpensive) order, the prices dropped 20% - if I'd had known or been advised while placing the order, I would have waited to save the extra money. So much for trying to get organised for Christmas - but, hey ho it will not stop me re-ordering for the future!”
