We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“I purchased one of the dinosaur/fossil eggs for my partner as well as a few small bits for myself. The chocolate was of excellent quality, and I received really clear communication throughout about order processing and delivery. Unfortunately, the egg was broken when it arrived. This somewhat ruined the surprise for my partner when they opened it. I appreciate that can happen to fragile purchases during transit, but I do think the box was a little over full which may have led to the breakage. Nonetheless, I would absolutely order products from Chococo again if I was in the market for excellent quality chocolate!”

“Hi the eggs are lovely. I ordered 10 for family and friends and all bar one arrived whole - unfortunately one was smashed which was a shame as they are so pretty and the reveal of the inner characters in the shell was slightly ruined. But taste was excellent. Thanks”

“Delicious chocolate, I brought a milk chocolate orange and a sea salt caramel and my family enjoyed them both. The only thing is that it was fairly thick in places which made the eating experience less pleasant.”

“Really good but unbelievable that you won’t take an order for collection. Ordered an Easter treat for my parents who live less than half a mile away from your shop. I asked to pay and they collect but you said no and instead you gave me free delivery. Please consider your carbon footprint! That is ridiculous!”

Sorry, but our HQ that deals with online and telephone orders is separate from our shops (of which we have 4). Sadly we simply don't have the technology, resources or demand to manage stock and orders for pickup from our shops.

“I decided to try these chocolates because they looked interesting and the box was very pretty. I enjoyed these chocolates but I thought they were overpriced for what they were. I will probably stick with my usual brand.”

We use the finest, single-origin, Raisetrade chocolate along with local and fresh ingredients, and we don't use any additives or preservatives! We craft all our chocolates & truffles by hand, we hand-decorate and hand-pack in plastic-free packaging. No machines, no robots and everything done by humans. We think we're worth it 😉️

“Good product, however, I placed order on 11th March, expecting it by the 15th. Turned up on the 20th, so bought another gift since this one arrived too late. Problem with Royal Mail.”

“The flavours were quite strong and some of the chocs were beautiful. Sad that the nutmeg flavour couldn’t be located. Less wasteful packaging but not easy to remove the chocs we felt. Have won lots of awards and very authentic - not entirely convinced I’d go for them again but that’s not a criticism. Very swift service - very pricey we thought.”

Thank you for your thorough feedback! You just need to remove a cardboard grid if you're having difficulty extracting the chocolates from their box - it's designed to try to stop them flipping in transit, but is easily resolved. Don't forget that we use Raisetrade chocolate (better than Fairtrade), our chocolates are hand-crafted, hand-decorated and hand-packed in plastic-free packaging. As well as that we're ethical, human (no robots here), palm oil-free, a small, artisan company and we think we're worth every penny 😍️

“Excellent chocolate! My only criticism is that the boxes are way bigger than the amount of chocolate inside - which is a bit embarrassing when you give something as a gift and it turns out to be very small!”

Thank you, we're so glad you love our chocolate. Because we don't use any plastic in our packaging, our kraft boxes need to be big so that we can cushion our hollow creations in food-safe tissue to avoid damage in transit. Our website states weights and sizes of items and boxes so that everything is clear.
