I ordered some chocolate bunnies for Easter, allowing plenty of time for delivery. My order arrived after the bank holiday had passed, despite being promised on Easter Saturday when I'd got in touch with Chococo to check. Lots of disappointed recipients! To top it off, my order arrived one bunny short, and although I got a refund for this when requested, I didn't get an apology. The chocolate itself was good - though not good enough to justify the delievry issues so I won't be ordering again, sorry.

Ordered the wrong Easter Eggs for my wife (my fault entirely). Tried several times to contact Chococo on the telephone and no call was ever answered. Emailed their Customer Care Team 11 days ago and still awaiting any kind of acknolwedgement / response.

Was very disappointed in inclusion of titanium dioxide in ingredients (banned in EU and listed as a possible carcinogen). Unnecessary, and led to recipient deciding not to eat the egg. Brand has a "healthy" image, but this didn't live up to it.

Thank you for your review. We're really sorry that we had to use titanium dioxide for a small amount of orders, including yours. Unfortunately, we were let down by our supplier of our usual ingredient, which meant we had to use what we had on site. We completely understand the disappointment as it's not an ingredient we regularly use, but in this case we were forced to, in order to fulfil all of our orders.

Tasty but way too expensive for what it is. So disappointing. Ridiculous price for what I got. Will not buy from you again sadly, or recommend you to anyone. What a pity as its a nice idea.

Our prices are higher than what you would find from other chocolate companies, but we think our quality justifies this. We completely understand that our chocolate won't be for everyone. Very poor logistic and management departments. They do not respect the delivery dates they are advertising or committing to on their confirmation email and sell chocolates that are out of stock. I ordered two matching chocolates but different flavour for two brothers for Easter. The chocolates were supposed to arrive on the 1st of April. I received a confirmation email but it turned out one of the chocolates was not available anymore. They didn’t bother contacting me before sending to check if I wanted to modify my order and only sent one chocolate. This resulted in this making me feel I was forced to order something else, despite not what I wanted and having to pay again for delivery costs. After complaining, customer service offered to lift the second delivery cost, which was nice, even if that only partially solved the problem. The second order was supposed to arrive on the second of April. Both orders arrived on the 4th, which was too late as I was leaving on the 3rd to see the family and bring the chocolates, making this order completely pointless. I contacted customer service to complain but received no feedback. A waste of £40 and I had to find other chocolates in emergency. I wanted to support an artisan and buy quality chocolates but I felt cheated by the marketing and management teams. Very poor understanding of customer relationships. A shame…

Thank you for your honest review. I'm sorry to hear both of your orders placed were delivered later than expected, and needed. Unfortunately, in busy periods like Easter sometimes we will refund the item rather than asking if a substitution is preferred, as this ensures the order can be sent out in time. Both orders were sent out as soon as we possibly could have, unfortunately, we can't control how quickly the parcel is delivered once it's been passed to Royal Mail. I have not recived what was ordered as we belive you have written the wrong house name as it is apparently deluvred, so I can not rate it

I bought a box of your chocolates to cheer up a friend. I paid for first class delivery and, although you couldn't guarantee a speedy service, it took 4 days, which was longer than I'd hoped. I bought the alcohol-free version of the selection box as I wasn't sure of her preference, but 3 of the chocolates contained gin and kirsch. However, she said the actual content was of a high standard and she anjoyed them very much.

The egg tasted nice and the chocolates inside were OK (quite scruffy in their plastic bag), but took such a circuitous route in transit to my house that the egg was broken on arrival (I did not discover this until opening it on Easter day). For such a high price (£50), this was nowhere near as good as I had hoped it would be.

I love the Chococo brand so this year ordered two of the large Easter eggs but sadly the packaging was just not good enough and the eggs arrived in pieces. The small eggs were ok in the post. Disappointing.

Lovely packaging, very disappointed to receive such a small bunny for a lot of money. It was a gift and embarrassing when the receiver opened it. It may be good chocolate but I don’t see how that small amount can cost so much to make. Won’t be ordering from you again. Vegans should not be penalised.

We appreciate your honesty and while our prices are higher than others, we feel the quality, and amount of cocoa in each product, means that the price is far better value than others. I'm sorry to hear you felt the Bunny in a Box was small, we don't try to hide the size or weight of the product, they are both included within the product description. Thank you for giving us a try.

Ordered Valentines Day chocolates as a gift and they arrived on 17/2. So quite pointless really. Chocolates were nice but not as good as some other local chocolatiers.

My order was mixed with someone else's. Replacements were dispatched without consulting with me so these arrived too late. I did recieve a refund as orginally requested but seems like a some morexattention is needed to ypurcpacking operations.

Ordered three penguins, all arrived broken. Replacement penguins arrived promptly but 2 were also broken. I did email Customer care at the time. Packing doesn’t seem to support the nature of the product. Didn’t get any further response.

The chocolate dinosaur tub and honeycombe chocolate bar were much smaller than expected. Arrived in a comically large box in relation to the size of the chocolate. Could be clearer online that these are small items- as they didn’t feel gift-worthy.

Thank you for your honest review. We really don't try to deceive anyone with the photos of our products on the website, nothing is edited in that sense. We also make sure that the total weight of each product is very visible and not something we try to hide.
