Loved some, others were a bit strange (to our tastes). Wasn’t expecting them to be as small as they were.

Oh no, we're really sorry that your heart arrived broken - nobody wants a broken heart, especially for Valentine's Day. Whilst we take every care to pack everything so it does not damage in transit, sometimes we can't help how it is transported with Royal Mail. We care passionately about chocolate, our customers and the planet so feedback is always welcome

My order was scheduled for delivery on Dec.20th,when it had not appeared on Dec.22nd I phoned the company,who eventually informed me that the parcel was probably held up in a Royal Mail sorting office,and as I would not now receive my order before Xmas(It was a gift!) they would replace my order with another and send it by Royal Mail 24 hr.Tracking system. The new order arrived on Dec.24th in time for Xmas for which I was very grateful. On Dec.29th I received a card from Royal Mail informing me that they have a parcel for me which cannot be delivered because the sender has not paid the postage. I assumed it was the missing Chococo order and paid £3.50 to have it delivered,which has happened today Jan.5th. However,there was only 1 box(I had ordered 2 originally!),so I am now confused as to whether the order was not carried out as I assumed it would be,or someone at the Royal Mail sorting office has decided that they fancied 1 of the boxes for themself! Either way,the experience has left me wondering about whether I would use this company again. A bit disillusioned!!

Oh no, what a shame, we are sorry you feel like this. Sadly, very occasionally, once one thing goes wrong, everything seems to go wrong (perhaps especially in the last posting days before Christmas)! If you'd contacted our Customer Care team to let us know about the missing postage, we would have had the chance to reimburse you and say sorry properly.

Whilst I very much enjoy Chococo chocolate, I was disappointed that you seem to have discontinued the large dark selection. In the absence of this, I bought the vegan dark selection and it was really not up to the standard I would have expected. Overly sweet and just didn't feel special. Would I order again? Hmm, mot sure.

Thank you for your feedback on our vegan festive selection, and sorry to hear that it wasn't to your taste. We worked hard to develop an exciting and unusual vegan festive selection of 25 different Christmassy flavours that was enjoyed by vegans & non-vegans alike. We discontinued our large dark fresh selection boxes simply to ensure that our boxes always contained a good selection of ever-changing flavours and to avoid duplications, but as we increase our plant-based range, we may be able to bring it back.

Flavours bit hit and miss for my partner and the lack of any info on what's in the box is pretty annoying. Hasn't really been the treat it was meant to be.

Oh no, sorry they weren't to your partner's taste. You should have let us know the menu was missing from the box so we could send you one by email - you may have enjoyed them a bit more if you'd known what they were.

Chocolate robots looked really awesome and packaged well. Overall a well received and unique gift. Not the tastiest chocolate though unfortunately

The deliverer wouldn't leave it as I was out. This entailed a time-consuming trip to the post office. The delivery charge was over a third of the cost of the chocolate penguin which, I'm sure, will be lovely. However as to whether I'll order online again? Thanks but No Thanks!

I bought the award winners box and was very disappointed. They were very hit and miss. Customer service was excellent.

Oh no, we're sorry to hear that our Award Winners Sharing Box wasn't a winner in your house! It is of course all down to personal taste and our ever-changing menus are sure to have all sorts of flavours that you may prefer. But we're thrilled that our excellent customer service still shone out!

A lovely present Nd excellent chocolates as always but one of the boxes had a best before date before Christmas which was a pain.

Oh, a bauble with a short date on it.... this should not be the case. All baubles should have had the date of Sept/22. This must be a best before date stuck on in error. The chocolate will be absolutely fine to eat.

Thanks for your review. We do try our best to please all tastes, and the beauty of a Chococo subscription is that you get to try all our seasonal specials as well as our all-time faves, even if a few aren't quite for you.

Asked for a review. I have no reason to suppose that the chocolates were anything short of lovely, but the ordering process was confusing and the request for feedback came to my daughter's name at my email address, as did all the notifications from Chococo about dispatch and the post office about delivery! Obviously I ordered them for her birthday at her location and so these were slightly useless! It warned her at one point that she might like to intercept the post so as not to spoil her surprise!

The chocolates are lovely. however, I paid extra for delivery within two days and the chocolates arrived over a week later with no acknowledgement that this would happen. My friend waited patiently for her gift, but I was embarrassed and won't be buying again.

Very unusual flavour combinations! The leaflet really should give you what’s in the box, not every chocolate made. We had the biggest box, which really should have had one of everything!

Thank you for your feedback. We do like to keep our flavours interesting! We will pass on your comments about the menu to our innovation team. As we are working with seasonal, local ingredients and handcrafting our chocolates, it's not always possible to include one of everything, but we do keep the selection as varied as possible.

I bought several boxes of chocolates in the past and loved them (the best I have tried in the UK!), so I was curious about the new brownies... I ordered the salted caramel one, and unfortunately, it wasn't anything special. I couldn't really taste the salted caramel and it didn't have a strong chocolate flavour. My partner and my son liked it, but for me it was a disappointment.

Your new 100% dark chocolate flakes from Ecuador are Ok but a drinking chocolate made from these is nowhere near as intense as the old 100% Colombian sugar free Hot Chocolate drops, which were really something, Sadly they no longer seem to be available. Please let me know if you stock them again.

Dear Christopher, Many thanks for taking the time to send us your review about the new 100% Ecuador hot chocolate flakes. We are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying them as much as the Colombian drops. The new 100% flakes are exactly the same in being sugar-free, but are made from arriba cocoa beans unique to the region in Ecuador where they are grown, so have a slightly different flavour. If you want to make your drink more intense, you can always add more flakes each time. We are not currently planning to stock the Colombian drops again as 100% is such a niche variant, but never say never! Best regards, Claire Burnet co-founder

A great brownie full of flavour, just a little thinner than expected. The brownies in store are much chunkier and we were hoping these would be similar.

Dear Chelcie, Many thanks for sending us your review - we are delighted to her that you enjoyed the flavour of your brownie. Yes they are thinner than our cafe ones as they need to fit inside the box to go in the post and I hope that the various photos on our website were clear in showing their size. Our cafe ones are very chunky vs most normal brownies! The brownies by post are made to the same recipe though, so the taste should be familiar. Some of the chocolate gingers were dry,bothers we're ok. I also bought a medium box of dark chocolates, not all 16 flavours were included which was disappointing.
