This was a gift for my daughters partner, the product sadly arrived broken but they still enjoyed eating it.

I bought these for a present, for my sister.I actually gave them to her on 30th March when we were allowed to meet up.She opened them the next day to discover they had to be eaten by 28th. !

Egg very difficult to break. Had to wrap egg I tissue paper to break it. Passing on the remarks of the recipient of the egg.

A bit disappointed as I bought the dinosaur egg for my nephew. The description sounded fun but in essence it was very small once out of the box. Tasted nice but wouldn’t buy again. Not with the money. The chocolate bunnies and honeycomb chocolate was good and got good feedback from the kids I gifted them too. Saying that delivery was great and packaged well.

Efficient in getting the order processed with regular updates on shipping etc. However, didn’t really enjoy the texture of the salted caramel gems, they were a bit powdery. Not worth the expensive price tag I’m afraid.

The chocolate is lovely but the online ordering system could be better. The issue seems to be where the shipping address is different to the billing address. The system mashes up the first part of the delivery address with the latter part of the billing address, causing issues and delays on the chocolate arriving at the correct address. The staff I dealt with were very helpful but I had to email once then ring 3 times more as I wasn't kept informed exactly where my order was, or when it was redispatched or when it would arrive at the correct destination.

Disappointed with the design and appearance of the box - not striking enough relevant to the price of the contents. As this was an Easter Egg, and as a present, I was unable to check if the contents were/are intact! Obviously I cannot comment on the contents or the actrual chocolate - I just hope they are not a disappointing as the presentation box and the poor packing that it got delivered in.

When we get to Easter I am sure the egg will taste lovely but unfortunately when we opened the parcel, one half of the egg was broken.

Dear Chococo, In December I purchased chocolates for a friend. They were delivered on time and were very favourably commented upon. However, my experience recently was not so positive. I initially made a mistake, sending chocolates to myself instead of to whom I had intended. I was attempting to get them delivered on a specific date and in the process lost the plot with the website and omitted to check the delivery address (my mistake). Having made that error I was very careful when sending chocolates to the correct address and was therefore horrified when on receiving confirmation of my order, the website showed that both the sender and the receiver identified with the receiver's details. Fortunately it was during the week and within the working day-time so I telephoned. I was told that there were technical issues, it was clear that I was not the only one who experienced this problem, but although I was assured that no prices would go with the delivery I felt that my concern was not taken seriously. The reason for my call to Chococo was that the last thing I wanted (which I felt was a legitimate concern) was for the receiver to receive a delivery note with quoted prices on their 80th birthday! If I had completed a review on the Christmas delivery it would have been a much higher star rating.

My fault I think ordering the wrong chocs as there is too much granache and not enough basic dark choc for my wife’s taste....ah well!

I ordered the giant salted caramel egg as a gift for my husband. I took it out to check it on arrival and there is a big hole in the egg. Obviously it got damaged on the journey. Disappointing given the cost.

Dear Dee, We are very sorry to read that your egg was damaged in transit but we can sort it out with a replacement! All you had to do was call or email us to let us know, but I have informed Katharine our customer care manager now, so look out for an email from her to follow up with you. All our eggs leave us in perfect condition but we cannot control how carefully they are handled in transit, however well we wrap them. I bought the small egg with dinosaur pieces and the large egg with dinosaur pieces. The small egg was fine but the large egg arrived completely smashed to bits. It was a present for my husband so that was a bit sad, but we managed to piece it back together with chocolate and that was a fun activity. However, on balance I wouldn't buy an egg from here again as there's too much risk with them being smashed. I appreciate them being plastic free, that was a positive from the brand itself, but perhaps a cardboard holder for the egg might be needed. The eggs were well wrapped though, can't fault the packaging. Perhaps the dinosaurs stuck inside the egg somehow damage the structural integrity?

Dear Catherine, We are sorry to hear that the giant egg was broken but we are also a bit confused as to why you didn't contact us to let us know, as we can fix the problem and send a replacement out for you! I have alerted Katharine our Customer Care Manager, so look out for an email from her to follow up with you directly. We are confident that our plastic-free packaging is strong enough for our eggs as we conducted postal tests before launch and since then have posted c5,000 eggs so far and have only had a TINY number of damaged ones. Whilst they leave us in perfect condition, we have no control over how well they are handled in transit and at the end of the day, an egg is an inherently fragile item, so this can happen. We are a small business but are here ready to talk to our customers if they have any problems and encourage all our customers to contact us directly on info@chococo.co.uk in all our confirmation emails and website. Chocolates came on time, box was pleasing to the eye in design, although I expected the medium sized box to be a bit bigger. Chocolates were average and a bit on the small side in my opinion but I loved the rhubarb and vanilla one.

Well first order was a bit of an issue as the stated delivery date was missed. However Chococo went the extra mile to sort sending a second box and refund of postage. Good customer service. I will use again.

I was a bit surprised at the large box, was looking for something sumptuous and special (luxury). This was to share with my wife. I felt a bit disappointed, they were incredibly small and although I like dark chocolate my wife does not so there was alot of dark chocolate. It was a mixed bag, some tasty some ok. Was looking forward to them so had high expectation. I do not really rate hotel chocolate because the chocolate is a bit waxy and bland, and although yours was better, it's not the full flavour I was looking for. Sorry, this is not a bad review but just on a hunt for incredible tasting chocolate.
