About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Tasty but way too expensive for what it is. So disappointing. Ridiculous price for what I got. Will not buy from you again sadly, or recommend you to anyone. What a pity as its a nice idea.”

Our prices are higher than what you would find from other chocolate companies, but we think our quality justifies this. We completely understand that our chocolate won't be for everyone. “No complaints about chocolates, but delivery is not good. I appreciate this is not down to Chococo, but my order of various Easter Bunnies for my family finally turned up on 9 April after everyone had gone home! I live in Wareham, but decided that by ordering online I would be more certain of getting the items I wanted, just a week before Easter. Delivery date was changed several times, parcel was at one point in Bristol and was finally delivered on a day I was away and not on the day I had asked for. I realise this is the Post Office, not Chococo, but it was disappointing. At least the bunnies all had a long BB date so the grandchildren will still enjoy them.”

Unfortunately, our courier takes all of our parcels to the Bristol Royal Mail Sorting Office, which I appreciate is a pain for yourself since you're only round the corner! “I sent the chocolates to my family and they were absolutely delighted with them. I made a mistake when I ordered milk chocolate for a vegan . Oops! But I was more than pleased that Lewis could change the item for dark chocolate. Excellent chocolates and excellent service. Thank you.”

“Great chocolate bars smooth creamy just what u want for a treat. Ordered some for me dad for his birthday I hope he likes them he says he only likes galaxy chocolate im trying to get him away from rubbish chocolate like that to a more ethical and better made product! Fingers crossed he likes it ! I will report back after the 18th of April!!”

“The assorted chocolates were excellent...well presented but for some it took a while to work out what they were (from the pictures) but this just increased the anticipation. The only issue of any kind was that by the time the package arrived the brownies had one day left on their best before date. Was the delivery on time - it depends. I ordered on 31/3 it was delivered 4/4. It took a bit longer than I had hoped but there was a bank holiday...”

“The dark chocolate bunny had a neat design, was well priced, was an ample size and arrived in good time. A previous experience with this company means that I would definitely recommend Chococo and their products. It's nice that dark chocolate was an option as the person I bought for only really goes for dark chocolate, plus it's statistically the healthiest of the chocolate types.”

“I’m really disappointed with my first order from Chococo. I ordered the Assorted Easter Hamper Bag for my husband, specifically because I knew he would love the idea of the dinosaur egg. My order was delivered on time but both of the chocolate eggs that were supposed to be in the hamper had been replaced by alternatives. When I contacted customer service, I was basically told that this was tough, and that sometimes products are swapped due to availability. I think if this is the case, customers should be given the option to change or cancel their order if it can’t be fulfilled, it’s really not right to promote items and then send something completely different. When I suggested this, I was told that it wasn’t possible to contact customers as they were too busy. I’m also confused that dinosaur eggs were then still available on their website after Easter, in their sale. The chocolate I did receive was nice but I won’t be ordering again as it’s a lot of money to spend with no guarantee of receiving what you ordered.”

Unfortunately, in some instances we do have to make substitutions for some products, this is something we will always try to warn the customer about, if we can. In this instance, if we attempted to get in touch, we wouldn't have been able to fulfil the order in time for Easter.
