We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“I cannot review your chocolates as they were a birthday present for my daughter-in-law. However I can comment on the ordering and delivery processes. I indicated when ordering that the chocolates were a present. Nowhere was I given the opportunity to write a gift card, so I had to warn my son about their arrival and who they were from. I wanted them delivered on her birthday, which I was told was possible. The date was the 27th September. I was then told they could not be delivered until 30th september. I then received a message stating that they would actually be delivered on 26th, which was not at all what I wanted! Overall, this has been a fairly unsatisfactory and shambollick process.”

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry the experience wasn't as smooth as hoped. The option to add a gift message is available at checkout, but it sounds like this may have been missed - we'll review how we can make it clearer. As for the delivery, all our dates are estimated (not guaranteed), and this is shown during checkout, on the order confirmation, and again in the despatch email. Your order was placed close to our daily cut-off and used 1st Class (ships next working day) shipping, but we were able to dispatch the same day, resulting in delivery a day earlier than the birthday rather than 3 days later. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope the chocolates were well received.

“Fish and Chips. What a great idea! Having been greatly amused to receive the gift of chocolate fish and chips - and enjoyed eating them - I then ordered two packs of fish and chips as gifts for a friend and family member. They were both surprised and delighted. My fiend proudly showed her gift to her family, but found that they had tested some of the chips themselves!”

“Chococo has become my preferred chocolate treat. The flavours are amazing and the chocolate is delicious, the candied orange segments are my personal favourite, although the fresh selection boxes are also gorgeous. The added bonus is no unnecessary packaging and an ethical approach to business”

We're really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your box. As we’re unsure which box you ordered or which chocolates you were expecting, it's difficult to comment about your particular experience. We do sometimes need to make small substitutions in our themed boxes, especially as all our chocolates are handmade in small batches. This is noted on our website, but we completely understand it can still be disappointing if a favourite or expected flavour is not there. If you had contacted our friendly customer care team at the time, they would have been happy to look into this for you and help resolve it.

“I’m a long-time customer but felt I had to leave a review as my recent order was even lovelier than usual. I’m a big fan of the chocolate fish in a tin - they make great presents! In addition, this time I tried the triple chocolate slabs and they were amazing - really intense milk chocolate flavour without being too sweet”
