Since the big high street brand sold itself to the big American corp I’ve been looking for an alternative uk chocolatier for all my choc gifts and treats. I am impressed with everything I’ve received from Chococo so far and I’ll continue to support this great British business :) One comment though, please remove the branding from the outside of your postage boxes. It ruins the surprise.

Welcome to the Chococo family - we're so glad you found us! Long may we continue to impress you. We took advice from our business mentors, who have a vast experience of managing online businesses, and they recommended that our boxes should be branded to show pride in our brand. This is in line with many other premium businesses, especially in the food and drink sector, who have branded boxes. Our Chocs Away email also lets you know the box will be branded so you can get to the door first or arrange a secret squirrel delivery 🎁️

Lovely chocolates as always, unfortunately 1 item broken in delivery (the fault of the delivery company rather than any problem with chococo) always a risk I suppose!

Thank you, but sorry to hear about the damage. We carefully pack all of our chocolate items in plastic-free packaging and fragile items are wrapped with extra tissue and paper packaging and they leave us in perfect condition. In the rare instance something arrives damaged, it's more about how it's been handled in transit than how they're packed.

Fast delivery. Bought some hot choc flakes as part of a gift and they’re not labelled saying what they are unfortunately. Not a big deal, only as they’re a gift and it looks a bit odd to give them unlabelled.

Thank you for gifting Chococo and sorry that the gift arrived incognito. We've checked your order and unfortunately there was no gift message saved to the order. You'll find the Add Free Gift Message dropdown as you go through checkout. All you need to do is click on the Save button once you've composed your message and that will save it to the order.

Bit pricey compared to equivalent high street product and my girlfriend didn't really rate the taste. Sorry Chococo!

The quality of the chocolate is excellent. I had problems with the website and couldn't find the way to get the free box of chocolates. However, when I phoned a very helpful lady added these to my order. Unfortunately, the order was then sent with one item missing. After contacting you again this was sent under separate cover. This slightly marred the whole Chococo experience.

Thank you, we're thrilled that you love our chocolate, but sorry that the website experience and the despatch issue marred the experience for you. We try to make it as clear as possible how to get free items when we have a promotion, so we're sorry that this was difficult for you to navigate. All our orders are picked and lovingly packed by hand (no automated picking or packing) and whilst we always aim to ensure everything is 100% correct, we are all human at the end of the day. But we're glad we managed to get both of your issues resolved - our lovely Customer Care team are on hand to do just that.

Although expensive for the quantity The oat dark chocolate was very good and the ingredients variant was undetectable. Like all dark chocolate I think dipping in hot drink helps release the taste that isn't always apparent or appreciated cold.

After a bit of a shaky start, the customer service surpassed expectations and rectified the initial problem. Wouldn't order the vegan chocolates again but the seasonal box was delicious.

Best chocolates available for the price. I was on the search for the ultimate chocolates and disappointed with the the upper class chocolatier box selections. The only comparable chocolates were Paul A Young's selection. Although they were very good they were very expensive. In summary Chococo are the best quality / value for money in my personal experience. My only downside is my attempt to try all the relevant seasons range and buying the larger boxes just gives me 2 chocolates ( sometimes 3) of the exact same flavour. I woukd happily pay a bit extra to get single chocolates covering the whole of that seasons range. Having said that, I hate to think of how much I've spent on Chococo chocolates since I first experienced them.

Easy to use website and order. Delivered on time and in good packaging. Chocolates themselves were disappointing. Short use by date, chocolate is quite hard. Flavours sounded tempting and were nice.

Enjoyable chocolates with some unusual flavours.Particularly enjoyed the toffee apple.Criticisms would be the short shelf life(though I understand this)and I also found it difficult to match the picture to the chocolate.

Fabulous chocolate as always. But this was a present and the gift message was missing from the parcel so the recipient didn't know who it was from!

The millionaires shortbread tasted amazing. The only thing that let it down was the chocolate had a defect on it like it had got warm. It was ok as I was sharing it with good friends at work but couldn’t have given it is a gift. The brownie was nice but as it was a rush buy I hadnt noticed it said gluten free. Have to say I don’t like the texture of the gluten free type brownies - would prefer a “normal one” which I can’t easily see if available.

Thank you, we're so glad you loved the Millionaire's Shortbread. It looks like the chocolate may have bloomed if it got warm whilst in transit. It's perfectly harmless - just some of the sugar separating - so it still tastes great. All of our brownies are made with rice flour to make them gluten free and deliciously truffle-like which is our signature brownie style.

The chocolates looked fantastic, and have been appreciated. But they were sent to my address and I intended for them to be sent directly ( and anonymously) to the address of the theatre that I included. Maybe I ticked the wrong box somewhere? Anyway my wife sneaked them in and left them without anyone spotting so it all ended up OK

Thank you we're so glad they were well received. We can only deliver to addresses provided on the order, and as there was only one on yours, it sounds like maybe you missed something as you were going through the checkout. All you need to do is provide the delivery address, untick the box if your billing address and the delivery address are different, and then provide the billing address.
