I ordered 3 chocolate advent calendars- 2 vegan and one milk chocolate. Delivery arrived a couple of days later than expected. It would have been nice to open windows for the chocolates, like the usual advent calendars, but it’s just a chocolate box. Most of the vegan chocolates are yummy but the chilli con choc one is rotten! I think it is a bit expensive for what you get.

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear that your delivery took longer than anticipated to get to you. Our standard delivery is estimated at 3-5 days - usually it's less, but occasionally it can take longer. Our Christmas Countdown is an Advent Calendar with a difference, and we do try to make it clear in the description and photos on the website that there are no doors (or windows) to open. What you get is 25 hand-crafted, ethical, slave-free chocolates which have been lovingly hand-decorated and packed in plastic-free packaging. Made with love.

Thanks for your feedback. You can update your order easily either in the pop-up basket or the full basket view by amending quantities or getting rid of items altogether by using the rubbish bin icon.

Love the chocolates and everyone I've sent them to has loved them too! Great choice and really good quality. My only minor gripe is that it's quite hard to predict the dispatch and delivery date, so if you want something to be delivered on a birthday it can be quite hit and miss as to whether they arrive on the day, a day early or a day late.

A calendar will pop up and you can select the preferred future delivery that you would like. Please be aware that this is a 1st Class service and so it is not a guaranteed date, we currently do not offer guaranteed delivery.

Lovely chocolate which was delivered promptly. However the chocolate penguins were broken on arrival.

Oh no, this is really sad and clearly disappointing, and certainly not how we want our lovely chocolate to arrive. If you'd let us know, we could have put this right for you. Please be assured that we don't want any of our customers to be unhappy, and we'd never knowingly send out damaged chocolates. We hope that the chocolate was just as delicious despite its less-than-perfect appearance.

Brilliant. All the family love the advent boxes. Our son is taking them into the hospital to share with his colleagues. Hope it doesn’t cause too many disagreements as to whose turn it is.

These are an advent box so now on November 19th I can’t give a full review. I can say they look lovely and here’s hoping they taste as good as they look.

I love these chocolates - they are the best on the market in this price range at the moment. I love the designs and the environmentally aware packaging and also the children's designs. Very high quality

Delicious chocolates but the descriptive details in the box are not obvious and the pictures do not compare clearly to the chocolates in the box.

Thank you, we're so glad you love our chocolates. As each one is hand-crafted and hand-decorated, every chocolate is an individual work of art, so occasionally the decoration may be a little different looking compared to the graphics on our menus. But sometimes, the excitement is in the discovery 😍️

Lovely chocolates. I have monthly subscription. But a bit disappointed because - despite the number of different flavours available I seem to have the same selection each month except for a couple of changes and also have 2 of the same kind

Our subscription boxes are made up to a different template each month and each box features a mix of our resident hero chocolates, seasonal favourites and new creations, so you will see familiar favourites alongside limited edition flavours, so every box is different.

Chocolates were a gift and are very good BUT it is disappointing that the menu lists many different flavours which aren't included in the selection. Instead there are repeats of some of the more standard chocolates which you can get anywhere. As I said they were a gift but they do seem excessively expensive.

We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed our chocolates. Our online selection boxes are made up to templates from our main seasonal menu of approximately 40 different chocolates which are all handmade using the freshest local & ethically sourced ingredients on a cyclical basis. By definition, we cannot fit all the flavours in every box, given our largest box contains 25 chocolates. But you can't get our chocolates just anywhere either! Slave-free, palm oil-free, less sugar, directly traded, totally sustainable and utterly equitable, not only is our chocolate officially delicious, it’s choc full of soul too! Hand-crafted, hand-decorated and hand-packed into recyclable packaging, it's worth every penny!

I ordered an Easter egg as a gift. The recipients were impressed with how pretty it was and said the chocolate was delicious. Fortunately they guessed I had sent the egg as the gift message was not included. On that basis 5/5 for the product itself; it’s just a shame the message was missing.

Oh no, we're sorry to hear that your Easter egg arrived without a gift message. We can see from your order that there was no message saved to the order; if there had been, it would have shown on your Order Confirmation. For any future orders, you just need to click on the Save button once you've composed your message. Sorry if you didn't notice this.

My daughter said that the chocolate was so nice and she loved the sea creatures in the design. Unfortunately the egg was damaged in transit but that didn't affect her enjoyment of the taste.

We're so glad to hear that your daughter loved the chocolate and our design. However, we're so sorry to hear the egg arrived broken. This is really sad and clearly disappointing, and certainly not how we want our lovely chocolate to arrive. All our chocolate gifts are despatched in perfect condition as we take the utmost care in wrapping them, but if any items are unfortunately broken in transit, we would always recommend that you contact us as soon as possible after receipt, or within 2 weeks of a key gifting event (such as Valentine's Day, Easter or Christmas) so we can try to rectify it for you. We're very happy that the chocolate was still a pleasure to eat despite its less-than-perfect appearance, and we hope that you'll come back soon.

Chocolate is really lovely. Unfortunately the Easter egg was broken on opening. I don’t think this was Chococo’s fault, probably more to do with the delivery

Thank you, we're so glad that you loved the chocolate, but we're sorry to hear it was broken when you opened it. All our chocolate is packed and despatched perfect condition. We have used a plastic-free packaging format for our Easter eggs for a number of years with only a tiny number of issues which are more to do with how the eggs are handled in transit rather than the fault of the packaging. If any items are unfortunately broken, please contact us as soon as possible after receipt so that we can try and put it right for you.
