We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“I loved the ease of ordering , and the delivery timeframe , the chocolate was very good quality, the animals I ordered were a big hit with the children that received them , but was a little surprised at the size of the boxes compared to the pictures , but I would definitely order again.”

“Very good service, are the packaging white particles recyclable?”

Thank you. Yes, the packing peanuts are recyclable. We only started using them very recently and haven't quite got around to updating the website, but it's due to happen. We're using protective chips or 'packing peanuts' in with orders to add extra protection. They're 100% biodegradable, 100% compostable and dissolve in water so can be disposed of sustainably. There are lots of different ways to use them - you can put them on the compost heap, add water and use them to water plants, or just pop them in the bin and they'll naturally biodegrade. As always, all of our packaging is plastic-free & recyclable.

“Sorry but I can't say any thing about it's taste as I have it stored for my son and his partner and I am trying hard not to think about it atm lol But I willl say that it looks and smells gorgous.”

“Much, much better than powdered hot chocolate. I love that it’s single origin. Better than Hotel Chocolat chocolate flakes. However, I find Knoops hot chocolate is smoother and has more flavour.”

“Very happy with the product and was well received as a gift. Whilst not bought for me, I have tried Choco chocolates and they were lovely. Only negative was I did not receive a confirmation email so was a bit worried at first, however I did get a Royal Mail delivery email instead. From the time ordered to delivered was nice and quick. Happy overall.”

“We really enjoyed the chocolates, as did our guests, but the ones with alcohol really didn't agree with me or my husband. I got an instant headache, and he had an upset tummy. Not sure if it was just us?”

“For years we've been buying a box of fresh dairy chocs for special occasions; birthdays, Christmas etc. They're THE best chocolates. This Christmas though, the fresh selections were taken off the site, so we ordered some of the festive ones instead. We were disappointed, they were not a patch on the fresh ones and dare I say it, the Hotel Chocolat ones someone had bought us were better. So unless the fresh ones are available, we won't be buying.”

Thank you for your feedback and continued support. We're sorry to hear that the Festive Selection didn't meet your expectations and we’ll take your comments on board. However, you can order our Fresh Selections for Christmas in advance using our 1st Class Preferred delivery service, you just need to remember to order a little earlier. At peak times (especially Christmas) we strongly advise that you pre-order early for delivery of freshly made chocolates later, to ensure that your order will arrive in time. If you leave it to order at the last minute, we may not be able to fulfill your request as our volume will be already committed & we may take the items off the website. As a small, hand-crafted chocolate company with a small team, there is a limit to how much we can make & pack.

“Ordered on the 1st December, delivery 3 - 5 days, arrived on Saturday 7th! Was hoping for the 5th but it did get there courtesy of Royal Mail. Sadly, the message that I had crafted was not enclosed and although I received an email confirming delivery, I always follow up (just in case!) and left if for a couple of days as I thought my chocoholic cousin would let me know they had arrived. I had to ask him if he had received them, he thought it was me, wasn't too sure and no message - a bit embarrassing, but there we are. No doubt he will let me know what the choccies are like in due course!”

“I ordered 3 chocolate advent calendars- 2 vegan and one milk chocolate. Delivery arrived a couple of days later than expected. It would have been nice to open windows for the chocolates, like the usual advent calendars, but it’s just a chocolate box. Most of the vegan chocolates are yummy but the chilli con choc one is rotten! I think it is a bit expensive for what you get.”

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear that your delivery took longer than anticipated to get to you. Our standard delivery is estimated at 3-5 days - usually it's less, but occasionally it can take longer. Our Christmas Countdown is an Advent Calendar with a difference, and we do try to make it clear in the description and photos on the website that there are no doors (or windows) to open. What you get is 25 hand-crafted, ethical, slave-free chocolates which have been lovingly hand-decorated and packed in plastic-free packaging. Made with love.

Thanks for your feedback. You can update your order easily either in the pop-up basket or the full basket view by amending quantities or getting rid of items altogether by using the rubbish bin icon.
