We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Excellent chocolate, amazing flavours. We have an annual subscription. It feels like we have seen some chocolates every month. If there was slightly more variety month on month this would be 5 stars.”

“Lovely chocolates. I ordered an Easter egg this year and the chocolate was very tasty. Unfortunately, I experienced some sort of food poisoning/tummy problems while eating these fresh chocolates so I was unable to finish them. Of course I don't know the source of this and it might not be the chocolates but I'm just being extra cautious because it's not something I am prone to and they were placed in the fridge. I will be ordering again but a different product next time.”

“The chocolate is always fabulous, but it wasn't clear that the order would be dispatched as standard. I thought, because it was the 'advent' collection, it would be delivered in time for Advent, not before the end of October which was disappointing.”

We made our Advent Calendar Collection a little longer lasting this year so that our lovely customers could get them in plenty of time and we didn't have a tiny delivery window to get all our orders despatched and delivered. The estimated delivery date is always shown at the checkout and on our Order Confirmations but if you want to choose a date in the future, you can select our 1st Class Preferred delivery service at the checkout. It's always a good idea to check your Order Confirmation when it comes throug and if there's something that you want to change, you can call or email us about it before your order is despatched.

“Interesting descriptions but chocolates are so small it's difficult to pick up all the flavours. They are packed so closely they are very difficult to remove from the box.”

Thank you for your feedback. Our Autumn Collection has been exceptionally popular this year with people loving our autumnal flavour combinations including Toffee Apple, Spiced Pumpkin & Black Forest Gateau. The cardboard grids are there to make sure your chocolates reach you in perfect condition, but there's a note on the menu suggesting that you lift out the grid dividers if you have any difficulty extracting your chocolates.

“The chocolates were a present. I bought them on 11 October, paid for first class postage and they arrived on 19 October. I was told they should be eaten quickly as they contained fresh ingredients - difficult when they take so long to arrive. I think you should review your shipping arrangements when it is known that Royal Mail have strike days”

Thank you for your feedback. The delay that your delivery incurred is very unusual for first class, but we have tried to make it as clear as possible on our website that the current raft of Royal Mail strikes is likely to affect deliveries; sadly, there's little we can do to avoid this. We're looking into alternative delivery methods so that customers have other options.

“I have sent gifts of chococo chocolates to quite a number of friends in the past. As we were staying in Swanage last week we went into the shop to send a birthday gift of chocolates to a family member. We couldnt order them in the shop as now the only way of ordering is online. I believe this to be a retrogade step. Having said the above I did make an online order and apart from the Royal Mail strike delaying delivery, once the chocolates arrived they were much appreciated.”

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to gift Chococo. Our shops aren't geared up for sending out orders, but as you will have found, ordering online is easy and our HQ team are there to wrap, despatch and contact by phone and email - we can also take orders over the phone.

Thanks, it's great to hear our chocolate is delicious. Expensive? Not really, when you consider that every single chocolate is hand-crafted from fine origin chocolate (palm-oil free too), the fillings made with locally sourced ingredients, each lovingly decorated by hand, and every box hand-packed in plastic-free recyclable packaging. And hey, you had 50 of them! 😉️

“I found the brownies sticky and more like a chocolate torte than a Brownie.They didn't look like the pictures.Flavour good but texture not so good.”

We're so glad you enjoyed the flavour of the brownies. Our brownies are definitely truffle-like and not so cakey, but as you had the Dorset Sea Salt Caramel variety, which has caramel swirled through, there's a bit more oozy caramel stickiness too.

“The Halloween treat arrived safely thank you. Saving for grandsons for Halloween do cannot comment on the taste yet. Just a l little disappointed at the fairly small size for the price. The Happy Birthday bar is a favourite and also being saved for a Dec birthday!”

Don't forget that all of our lovely chocolates are hand-crafted here in Dorset by our fabulous team of chocolatiers using fine origin chocolate, which are then individually decorated by hand and then hand packed into plastic-free recyclable packaging. The end result is worth the little extra.

Sorry that Royal Mail let us down at the last hurdle; we usually find posties very efficient at delivering to domestic addresses, and can only apologise if things went awry.

Our First Class Preferred delivery service is a first-class tracked future day delivery service in which you choose your preferred future weekday delivery date from the calendar, however, it's not a guaranteed delivery date.

“Lovely chocolate dinosaur egg, kids loved the dinosaurs and fossils inside. Only disappointment was that most fossils and dinosaurs were dark chocolate which the children didn’t like, maybe I didn’t read description properly, a shame in a milk chocolate egg.”

Thank you! Kids and grown-ups love our dino eggs and with milk, white and dark chocolate, there's something for everyone! Each egg is handmade, starting with the outer layer of the shell creating a mottled egg effect which is achieved by stippling white & milk chocolate. The shell is then built up with layers of our 45% Venezuela origin milk chocolate, and each half studded inside with mini dark & white chocolate dinosaurs & ammonites. Finally the two halves are hand-sealed, secreting the surprises inside. It was winner of top marks (5/5) in the Telegraph taste test of the best kids' Easter eggs published online March 10th 2021.
