We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“The chocolates were incredibly tasty, so much so they only lasted a couple of days. It would have been nice to have slightly more variety as we received two of quite a few of the chocolates. Delivery was very quick and everything arrived in beautiful condition which was important as one box was a gift. Would happily order again and recommend to others”

“Chocco is chocolate in all its glory. Ordered for Christmas and loved that the expiry date was just after the holiday so that the scrumptious limited box were enjoyed during the holiday. So no complaints!”

“I ordered the 'segments of candied orange' in dark chocolate. The quality of the chocolate and the orange slices was lovely. I did find that has they were double dipped in chocolate it kind of took away the lovely flavour of the orange slices, The chocolate just overpowered it too much. I would have enjoyed them more if they were dipped just the once, so that both flavours could be enjoyed.”

“Voucher arrived before Christmas which was great as it was a present . The recipient was very pleased particularly as they can choose when they will receive their first delivery. This proved to be a popular gift and of course would be good for any time of year . Could be used to cheer some one up or to say thank you in the present difficult times .”

“The chocolates are amazing, and look lovely. Chilli and coconut, not-so-much. Is a shame that postage and packaging has to be charged on-top of what is already an expensive box of chocs.”

“The design of Chococo products is exquisite and often looks very designer (i.e. expensive!), which means that our Christmas gifts have been received with delight. Furthermore, the recipient of a gold chocolate bar reported that the taste was incredible and the recipient of the chocolate robots also found that their sweet tooth had been happily sated. The only product that did not live up to such taste standards was the white chocolate buttons. I love white chocolate, especially when it is creamy but perhaps a higher cocoa content in the Chococo buttons has reduced the creaminess and given the chocolate a slightly chemical taste. As a result of this I am likely to purchase beautiful gifts in future but less likely to purchase white chocolates.”

Dear Emma, Many thanks for your custom and for taking the time to send your smashing feedback - we are delighted to hear our chocolates went down so well with your recipients. Our single origin Colombian white chocolate is a bit different to others you may have tried before as it is made with natural 'undeodorised' cocoa butter so has more aroma and also has more of a (directional) flavour of cocoa than most white chocolates do, so it is a bit of a different taste experience. I say directional, as most of the flavour of chocolate comes from the cocoa powder half of a cocoa bean, the melting properties of chocolate come from the cocoa butter, the fat part of every cocoa bean. To be honest, I would always recommend purchasing milk or dark chocolate as they have the full cocoa taste from both the cocoa butter & cocoa powder elements of cocoa beans and will always be less sweet than white chocolate! Thanks for taking the time to send us your feedback - the compartments for each chocolate are designed to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition whatever they go through in transit, but we do suggest on the welcome card and on the menu (twice) that they are very easy to extract if you remove the grid dividers that hold the chocolates in place. “The drinking chocolate flakes arrived in time for me to give as a Christmas gift and were as described. However, I have not yet heard whether the recipient has tasted them. I expect them to be good.”

“A little disappointed, was expecting more of a milk and dark chocolate selection (nearly all dark). The chocolates were small and quite hard in texture. Couldn't really distinguish which chocolates were which from the very large 'menu' chart.”

We are sorry to hear that you thought the chocolates small and hard in texture - there should have been a good selection of shapes and textures in the selection. Some of the chocolates also look dark but will have a milk or white chocolate centre. We do this to balance flavours and avoid a chocolate being too sweet, so actually there were fewer all dark ones than you might expect on viewing the box. “I have given them as a present and tried one or two and they were lovely but quite expensive when compared to other brands.There is a chocolate shop in Southsea I really enjoy and you can pick out the flavours you like.My wife prefers yours to the Southsea shop as the box was her present so it is a matter of preference.”

We are delighted to hear that your wife is a fan and just to let you know, that, when things are more normal again, if you can visit our chocolate houses in Winchester, Horsham, Swanage or Exeter, you can also choose the flavours you want to fill a box from our display cabinets.
