We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Chocolates delicious, box also nice. But these were a gift for my husband not me and I couldn't find a way to make that clear on the web order page. Also I didn't need them quite so quickly but had no way of knowing or indicating that .I may have missed something but an option of 'Are these a gift for someone else?' ( as chocolate often is) on order page would be good.”

“Hello! The chocolate selections that I ordered were for gifts for my children and were well received. However, I think you have a problem with your website which did not allow me to provide separate delivery and billing addresses, so I ended up ordering in my sons' names using their addresses for both delivery and billing, but with my own email and phone number so that your communications would be with me. This was a bit frustrating, but did not affect efficient delivery. You didn't need a billing address anyway as I paid using my debit card.”

Just to reassure you though, our site does indeed enable you to provide separate delivery & billing addresses - there is a tick box section in the checkout to provide a billing address if it is different to the billing address. Our site is only a few months old and is based on latest best practice with regard to checkout processes but we are in constant dialogue with our web agency to ensure that we are being as clear as possible with our communication in the checkout process. “I tried 3 times to order online but had problems at the payment stage,as did the household I wanted to give the chocolates to,in another part of the country. When I rang, the order was placed in minutes and arrived promptly with clear Royal Mail tracking en route. Living fairly near to Swanage I have enjoyed Chococo for many years and will continue to give it as gifts as well as enjoying it myself!”

“Very nice chocolates. Certainly on the expensive side but can taste the quality. Was disappointed with the delivery service. I opted for the preferred delivery date but the package was shipped immediately and it was only by tracking the parcel and changing the delivery date with Royal Mail that I avoided a premature delivery. I would have expected Chococo to have scheduled the shipment for the delivery date I selected when I ordered rather than giving me the problem to solve.”

“Delicious chocolate, especially the caramelised white chocolate. Come beautifully wrapped so a pleasure to give as gifts. Lost one star though as they have never answered by questions on their instagram, which frustrating. Personally i wish they did more chocolates WITHOUT alcohol (or standard boxes without alcohol)”

We also do offer an alcohol-free selection box (look in the 'boxed chocolates, alcohol-free selections' section), lots of our chocolates are naturally alcohol-free, plus we offer various boxes which are alcohol-free eg: our boxes of sea salt caramels or crunchy honeycombes. “The Chocolates were excellent. We would certainly recommend them but, we found them very difficult to get out of the box because they were far to tight and very difficult to get out one at a Time. We did unfortunately finish up with the box upside down on the floor. Dexterity is always an issue as we are elderly which made the situation slightly worse.”

“The box and contents looked lovely - oohs & aahs from the boss. Getting them out of the box however wasn’t easy but the pleasure they gave was nice but not long lasting. Hope this helps - we ate the last two this evening.”

“Chocolates are good to eat and beautiful. Nice range of flavours and there's no problem with the short shelf life as we want to eat them. I like the inner packaging, nice design. Tricky to get out of the box. I wrote to you before when they arrived to complain about the indiscreet outer packaging which spoiled the gift surprise. I received a reply, basically telling me I was wrong to be frustrated - pretty annoying. Can't see why anyone would order this product except as a gift so I could not recommend you if there's no surprise.”
