“Delicate China wrapped in newspaper as well as the packaging - so left grubby marks. Green sticker dots on China - are they seconds ?”

Helpful Report

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The green got stickers are our grading system, green represents 'excellent' condition, and we use yellow for our lower grade of 'good'. We have found that newspaper is a very good packing material, as it is readily available to us, a perfect shock absorber, and more environmentally friendly than bubble wrap or polystyrene chips. However, going forward perhaps we should wrap the items in a plain paper rather than newspaper. Matt

“Almost exactly a year after I enquired about a Wedgwood tea-set, I was contacted by email that asked if I was still looking for pieces. I was, and ordered both the cups that were available; these arrived within 24 hours. I regard that as really impressive service, and my contact was both friendly and empathetic”
