I like rocker shoes and bought many in the past but this latest shoe I bought I was not happy as A -the description was not correct on the web site and B -I found a M&S receipt belong to someone else in the box when I received the shoe which I was not happy at all so I returned the shoe which cost me £4 in postage and I bought another Ricker shoe for £59 at my local store in Cardiff which fit me better with excellent quality Thank you

Thank you for your review. On occasion we may have a customer who might buy from us 2 sizes of shoes so that they can check for fit and then send one back to us for refund and keep the other for themselves. If this happens and the shoe is unworn then it will go back into stock. We do dispatch on behalf of Debenhams, JDW and Amazon so we are unsure how a Marks and Spencer receipt could have been within the package as we do not have any affiliation with this firm. Quick delivery and kept up to date throughout however CC perhaps needs to consider free returns as many other stores do this as deliveries are charged for; I had to travel an hour to return my goods to store, all in all it’s a rather costly experience. Maybe something to consider in the future as your competitors offer much more for less including cheaper prices for the same shoes! Also the box was rather tattered on delivery, not a major issue but when you spend so much on items you expect a level of quality CC is usually good at.

My mum was really happy with her shoes but they quite late and box was crushed. Not sure I’d use again.

We advise that our free delivery service can take up to 5 working days to dispatch, your order went out on the 3rd working day and with you on the 4th working day so we are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with this. CC were able to furnish a style/quality to my satisfaction without fuss and when I needed to return the first (too small) shoe to a branch, it was again accomplished with minimum effort.

We loved our choice of shoes but we paid £4.50 more than the amount advertised on the box.

Service was very quick however the boots that arrived were navy not pink and wider than I ordered (ordered 5F and revived 5G). I didn’t return the boots partly because I didn’t have time but also because I actually preferred the navy and the pink were showing as no longer in stock in the required size.

I did eventually receive the shoes - after a week! I was going away last Friday (25th) and had hoped they would be delivered before that. They were actually 'delivered' on the Friday after I left and the Royal Mail represented had thrown them over my fence, landing on the refuse bin. Thankfully you had them well packed in the plastic bag and they were fine when I got them when I returned from my weekend away. I have had 3 other pairs of these shoes and they are unbelievably comfortable. This pair I did not find comfortable at all - they were much wider than my other 3 pair and didn't seem to have the same quality about them. I was going to return them but I actually gave them to my sister yesterday as she has much wider feet than me. Not just as good an experience as I have had in the past with Charles Clinkard - sorry.

Our free standard delivery is up to 5 working days for dispatch. I can see the order was dispatched within 2 working days and delivered 3 days later with Royal Mail. We do aim to get all orders out as soon as possible, but sometimes we may have to wait for the stock to arrive at our Head Office which can take a few days. In the future, if you do need the shoes quicker than our standard delivery time frame, we do offer next working day delivery on some items, which is £5.99 and we offer an express delivery which is £2.99 for dispatch within 3 working days. With regards to the delivery, please let us apologise your parcel was threw and left over your fence which was not requested. Please be assured we will investigate this internally with Royal Mail. I was really disappointed to find out that you have to pay for returns. I would not be buying from here again. A majority of places now provide free returns or click & collect, offering customers good customer service. This has left me with a very poor customer experience.

On checking your order we dispatched this on the third working day and this arrived safely a couple of days later. We are very sorry to hear you found our delivery process slower than other companies, we do dispatch items as quick as possible however if the products are not available in the warehouse then this can add a number of days as we bring in the stock required. We do offer faster deliveries such as Next Day which is £5.99 and dispatches the order the same day with delivery on the Next Working Day, as longas palced before 5pm Monday to Friday. I got the boots I had my eye on for a couple of months at a reduced price. However it was obvious that one of the boots had been on the shop floor.

At the end of checkout, a pop up alerted me the transaction had not been successful. The page showing, recommended I could pay with two other alternatives methods. I closed the browser, and forgot about it - until I received an email days later saying that my item had been dispatched! Thank heavens I hadn’t ordered elsewhere. My item arrived in good condition, but weren’t a good fit. I chose to return and shop again, rather than use the returns process which would have taken longer. I wasn’t happy to realise that returns weren’t free. My second order, in a wider size of the same shoe arrived yesterday, and fit well.

I was disappointed to find out that the return label to use Collect+ was not included in the box and that it would cost me £4.49 to download one. The alternative was to drive nearly 20 miles to my nearest store or send by post. I have purchased many boots from CC but have recently had a foot operation and neither of the boots purchased were able to be worn. I may not use this service again.
