I’ve found I have to shop on-line to get my size 7.5 or 8. Store didn’t have any of my selections in anything bigger than a 7.

Happy with boots not happy with having to pay to send back extra pair not knowing which to choose

Happy disapointed to pay £8 for returns which is very expensive and that was second class post for small boots and a pair shoes

Hello, Thankyou for your review. Returns are payable by our customers and you can use various services which would be efficient such as Collectplus which is £4.49 for up to 10KG in weight. This is ideal for larger items like boots or multiple orders where you would like to try numerous sizes/styles. You can also take into a Charles Clinkard store for an exchange or a refund within 35 days of receiving your order. Hello Thankyou for your review. We offer various deivery options: Standard delivery which is free and dispathced within 2-5 working days. Express-£2.99 and dispatched within 2-3 working days Next Day - (DEPENDING ON STOCK AVAILABILITY) This is dispatched on a Next Working Day service. We also have a number of couriers such as Royal Mail and DPD, additionally you may opt to have a purchase sent into a Charles Clinkard Store. Again this service is free. The service was prompt and convinient. The only negative thing is if you want to return the shoes if they not fit you have to pay for the postage.

Hello, Thankyou for your review You are welcome to return items into a Charles Clinkard store and on checking your postal code, we can see a store is located in Guildford which may be an option in the near future. Additionally, you can return via Collectplus and the cost is £4.49 and covers up to 10kg in weight, ideal for larger purchases like boots and also for orders of multiple items. The Post Office also has extra services which vary in cost depending on which you chose to use, we recommend a tracked service for your protection however you can chose which is convenient to you. My order was supposed to be an express delivery but until I reminded the sales chap it wasn’t. However we all make mistakes and my measure was how it was addressed, which was examplary.

Slippers were a large fit and it would be helpful if information from customer feedback (or from the store itself) regarding the fit was shown on the website, particularly as the customer pays for returns (a minimum of £3.95; second class registered).

Hello, Thankyou for your review. The style is relatively new this season and we havent received any feedback about the slippers you placed an order for. As size is personal there is no better way of trying on an item for fit than in the comfort of the store or in your own home and we are disappointed to hear your comments. We offer free standard delivery with no minimum spend and ask customers to pay towards the return. This can be either via store if a Charles Clinkard one is near to you, Collectplus or additionally the Post Office has many services to assist customers. Naturally we are disappointed with your review however appreciate the time you took to complete this. Ordered a pair of boots and paid for express delivery Unfortunately they didn’t fit !! I went to shop and they re ordered free delivery to the shop which I was not aware of!!! Therefore I totally wasted £6 am so annoyed !

The Next day payment is a choice for the customer to have a speedy delivery, we do offer a free delivery service to home, a different delivery address of your choice or into store, all of these options are available on our website. If you wanted a next day delivery into store, then you would also need to pay the extra postage as we need to ensure that your order is processed as a priority and sent out with a next day delivery service. All orders are available to be delivered into store but it is up to 5 working days to dispatch with our free delivery service so we could not guarantee that they would be there any quicker than if they were ordered for delivery to home. Good range of footwear. However I was sent incorrect size on one order and incorrect colour on another. Rather annoying when you have to pay for returns.

We do ask customers to pay for returns if they have ordered an item and they dont like it, or it doesnt fit. This enables customers to order multiple items with a free delviery and return those that they do not wish to keep. Very disappointed in returns service. The shoes we ordered were a very small 9. As we have no Charles clinkard near us, we weren’t sure of the sizing. We shall not be ordering from you again, unless returns become free.

Free postage label. Thanks. Quick refund. Very good. Negative: confusing product description- more details about felt ( combi felt, etc); sole- man made rubber NOT fabric as you put Fabric is assossiated as textile/cloth.

Ordered trainers for my granddaughter for her birthday, the website said they would be delivered by the first of September but nearer the date I received an email to say they would be delivered on the 3rd so they were not here in time for her birthday. So for that reason alone I would not order again from this site. When they did come they were in perfect condition and granddaughter was chuffed to bits with them.

Our dispatch time is within 5 working days, so you should have your order within 6 working days. It is usually sooner than this when we get orders out. We do usually offer an express delivery for £2.99 but during busy periods like these dates, when it is the end of sale and also back to school, we have to remove it as our dispatch is so busy, we try to get everything out as quickly as possible. You sold me the goods that I wanted for the price shown on your website. Interestingly you don't ask why I have only scored you as "acceptable". My reason for this is the delivery company that you used (Royal Mail). I had put a delivery instruction of leaving the goods with a neighbour who is always in, but Royal Mail put a card through my door saying that I had to go to the local sorting office within a certain time frame to claim the item. I had gone on holiday but came back before the deadline. If I hadn't the goods would have been returned to you apparently. Performance of Royal Mail? One star.

I was sent the Barbour loafers but you could tell the right shoe was a display shoe and had been on display a while. When I compared it to the left the right one at the back was worn down considerably possobly due to people trying it on often.

Item received as described, however delivery time was poor and unfortunately shoes have proved uncomfortable since I have worn them so therefore unable to return.

Hello, Thankyou for your review. Our standard delivery which is free of charge is dispatched within 2-5 working days. There is an option for Next Day delivery on some items however the item would need to be available in our warehouse to be able to process this. When purchasing a new brand of shoes, we recommend trying them around the home first for a number of days to establish if they are suitable. We offer 35 days to return an item unworn for a refund/exchange however would be unable to accept back shoes which have been used. If we can offer further assistance do not hesitate to contact us.
