“Very happy with the whole experience, staff were all very helpful ! . My Sister bought a pair of boots and walked out of the shop in them ( having paid) then we walked around town for the whole day she was very happy. 😊 I also bought a pair of boots which were delivered to my home for my husband to give me on my Birthday- which hasn't happened yet. I look forward to seeing them again on Monday 25th! As ever thank you for great service.”

“I had bought some boots online from charles clinkard but unfortunately they were slightly too narrow. I visited the shop Newcastle upon Tyne and the service and staff were first class. A refund was processed and I tried on the Gabor Rachel and Gabor Oslo boots and took some time deciding as both were a really good fit and look. Staff were amazingly patient helping me to put on and take off boots various times. Chose a pair and I am delighted with them. Thank you to the amazing staff”

“Today I went to Charles Clinkards in Milton Keynes and I have to say what a lovely store. So clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff. The lady who served me was fabulous, I think her name was Nicola. Unfortunately my size wasn’t available so she ordered for me to be delivered direct.”

“Whilst the slippers looked lovely and comfortable they were very small for a size 6. Both my mum and I are this size and for both of us our big toe was sticnking into the far end. Added to that when we tried to walk in a slipper they slipped off our heels. Having paid postage to try this item I strongly object to paying for more poastage to reutnr them. Will obviously not be buying from here again.”

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you and your Mum found this style unsuitable. As suggested, if you need to return an item to us as a result of this, you cover the cost of the postage. However, for future, you have a shop close by in Cheltenham that you can return them to if you wish, and we offer a reduced - cost Royal Mail label via our returns portal on the website. “I was very disappointed to receive my boots that were not the quality I would expect. I did email customer services along with a picture of the issue and also mentioned that the box that the boots arrived in was digusting and was told this can happen during transit, which I don't believe is the case. I have returned the boots today requesting a replacement pair to be sent out.”

For the first time there was a problem with the shoes delivered which was the result of the manufacturer not specifying the correct colour correctly. Charles Clinkard resolved this issue very quickly to our satisfaction. We will continue to use Charles Clinkard for the foreseeable seeable future.”

“Recently visited the Stratford-upon-Avon branch of Charles Clonkard and was greatly impressed. Staff could not have been more helpful and advised me well when I purchased my boots.
