“My mum used to shop here... I always wondered why? Now I know. It's the staff: a friendly, no fuss, helpful and courteous group of people you should be proud of. “Needed to return my online purchase to the local store(York) as some stitching was substandard(sticking out, didn't dare cut if off), and there was a 'bald patch' on area above the heel. The person who served me said it was because of the fabric, but this was not quite the case. Regardless of how it was rubbed, so as not to show up, it returned and was on full view to anyone looking. The area shone! I have order a different boot and await a call to say it has arrived. After years of buying Gabor boots(I own three pairs even now), I was hugely disappointed in the shoddiness of the product.”
