Hello Thankyou for your review. We offer free standard UK delivery however do ask for the return of the item to be covered by our customers. The item can be returned with Royal Mail (please check the services offered within the Post Office) or there are other options such as Collectplus. Collectplus is £4.49 and covers up to 10kg in weight, ideal for larger items and multiple orders. Ordered online shoes arrived in damaged box an sole was coming away from shoe. On a positive note they were exchanged promptly by friendly staff in store in Bristol. Defeated the object of saving time online. Surprised damaged shoes were sent out.

The shoes I ordered did not arrive but a pair that ere totally different however on reporting this I was sent a onlinetreturns label and a refund has been arranged.thiswas done efficiently

I got charged £2.99 for delivery of a pair of £140.00 boots even though their website states that orders over £100.00 are free. I sent the boots back as I didn't like them and then got charged a further £4.49 via the CollectPlus service. I have since bought a similar priced pair of boots from John Lewis where delivery and returns are free. Hence the additional costs, I would not use Charles Clinkard again.

The £2.99 cost added to your order was for our Express Delivery Service which dispatchs your order within 2-3 working days. On checking the timeline of our order we sent out your products within this. We enclose our delivery and returns details next to the item as you add into the basket and this gives a list of our delivery options and also advises how to return your items. My item arrived with a sales tag of £46. I was charged £58. Overcharged by £12 The item wasnt suitable and will be returned but i was rather annoyed.

The new boots arrived and they were obviously a pair that had been returned from another customer. They hadn't been boxed properly, the laces had been tied differently on each boot and where they had been packed, the boots were very creased and the tongue on the left boot was bent to the right where it had been squashed. I called customer services straight away and after my conversation it felt as though the advisor wasn't that bothered. Very poor service, I wouldn't recommend this shoe provider to anyone nor would I ever use again,

Ordered my Van trainers. Chose the click and collect option to be collected from a shop nearby. Received an email initially that stated they have arrived. When i got there no trainers were delivered. I got in touch with customer services who couldn’t locate the parcel and offered a refund without any gesture of goodwill for my next purchase. Still awaiting refund to hit my account. However received a further email stating the trainers are ready for collection. Went again and surprise surprise they are not at the shop again. Very disappointed with the whole process. This was the first and the last time i will be purchasing anything from Charles Clinkard.

Took almost a week from the point of placing the order to then get a phone call to say one of the items was no longer in stock ... no surprise; its ben on sale for an other week since I paced the order ... then it took another week to get the only remaining item still in stock delivered to me. And when the shoes did arrive, the sole was falling off ... Disappointing on two counts: 1. Time taken to deliver from the point of ordering; 2 weeks. Not even close to other providers 2. Quality of product, very poor Will be returning them for a full refund and not likely to use CC for online ordering again.

Ordered a pair of boots in the colour I wanted and when they arrived tried them on in shop...the lace holes were not level - staff at bristol mall Cribbs causeway couldn’t see what the issue was ....and it was obvious....and had an awful attitude towards my complaint ....said that I could order another pair of boots but they couldn’t guarantee they would be any different ...after more huffing and puffing on their part and some rolling of the eyes I cancelled the order and asked for refund. Their attitude stank! I won’t be shopping at clinkards ever again!!!

Ordered online both pair of children's shoes arrived terribly packaged and faulty not just a little faulty but to a point you could notice a mile off. Then no return slip or invoice was in the package. Your team was great at helping but it has put me off purchasing from you again. Very disopinted with the quality of your warehouse production .

I received a completely different model of shoes in a wrong size. When I brought the order to the shop to return I was treated as a criminal trying to swap a stolen pair of shoes for money. Never again!

Unfortunately we were unaware of this until you went into store, we could have arranged for the shoes to come back at no cost to yourself and either had the correct pair sent or refunded you your payment. I waited the normal 5 days for my shoes to be delivered and l was looking forward to them arriving as l had bought a pair of them in red in your shop in Meadowhall in Sheffield. When the shoes in blue arrived they looked secondhand they are marked and rubbed all over them. I cannot believe you would send them to a customer and not expect them to be really annoyed and very disappointed. I have rang your store in Meadowhall and they have said there are 2 pairs in a size 6 in your company and are having them sent to Sheffield and hopefully they will be perfect. I am having to wait another week. Really disappointed with the service.

These shoes appeared when I was searching for shoes with removable insoles. However, when they arrived they had fixed insoles and I had to return.

Bought school shoes and a pair of canvas shoes for my grandson. After wearing the canvas shoes for ten minutes they had rubbed his heal. I immediately took them off him as I didn't want him to have a sore foot to start school. When I returned the shoes to Redcar I was told they had to try the shoes on him to determine if they fit properly as anyone could return shoes and say they didn't fit. waste of time getting his feet measured by their staff as manager obviously doesn't believe them or me.

Ordered Size 6.5 but 5.5 in wrong box. Rang but have to wait for a return sticker to be posted (no printer at moment) and then phone to say I am returning wrong size before correct shoes will be sent out. Unfortunately away from home this week.
