“I bought 2 pairs if these boots in different colours for an elderly aunt. Her feet are swollen so trying to put on boots which are just slip ons, or have a zipper on one side was proving very difficult and exhausting for my aunt. These boots are perfect. They have a zipper both on the inside and outerside of the boots so that when you undo both zippers there ample room to slide your foot in. The quality is very good, and the small wedge heels are of the correct height. Where it used to take my aunt a fair time and lots of effort to put on her boots, it's now only a matter of seconds. Brilliant!!”

“The shoes marked as 'extra wide' were barely even normal width and beware - you have to pay to return items even if they were wrongly described. Shame, because the shoes looked nice.”

Whilst the Josef Seibel Anvers you ordered are listed as a UK size 11/46 online, the packaging displays only the EU size. In this case, a UK 11 corresponds to an EU 46, which is the size you ordered and is correct in this case. I understand that sizing/equations can vary between brands, so I apologise for any confusion or disappointment caused. “On January 18th we visited the shop in Keswick. My husband bought a smart new pair of boots in the sale. The assistants working in the shop that day were excellent and very patient as he tried several pairs before making a selection. Sadly some of the stitching went during the first week. Back we went. The situation was dealt with speedily and efficiently and a new pair of boots selected as an exchange. Not only that, I bought a pair of boots for myself! Everyone who helped us was great. But a special mention for Grace.”
