“The choice of shoes from Charles Clinkard was great, and the ones I ordered were delivered promptly and in good condition. The problem arose with returns. When you look at how to return online returns, there's a link to click to find stores where they can be returned in-store. However, there is very small small print underneath many of those stores saying that they do not take returns for shoes bought online. That needs to be much bigger, or there needs to be a different section for stores that only take returns for items purchased at that branch, and stores that take returns from other branches or from online. I ended up having to return by post, at significant expense. I would not have bought the shoes online if I had realized.”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear the returns process was more challenging than expected, our aim is to provide hassle free returns so it is disappointing this has not been the case. Only items purchased in concessions can be returned to them but online orders can be taken to any of our branches. This is outlined under each shop on the website list but I can pass on your comments regarding the font not being clear enough. This is also highlighted on the Returns Page of our website where we also have a portal to create a Royal Mail label for ÂŁ3.20. This information should have been on your invoice and our Customer Service Team is available 7 days a week if you have any queries or need assistance.
