The service was ok apart from the telephone call I received trying to persuade me to change my order to Cartridge People ink. This was intrusive, unwelcome and an appalling way to treat anyone.

I selected the correct printer and was sent the wrong item. When i called, i was told it was correct! It was clearly the wrong item. Return agreed, but i had to haggle to get the delivery funds back.

I ordered a genuine HP toner cartridge, then later that same day someone from customer service phoned up to recommend I bought a non-genuine one. When I said I'd stick with my original choice they spent several minutes persuading me that I should buy the non-genuine one. I found this quite annoying and told them I wasn't changing my order. It makes me think that they wanted me to choose the item that was best for them (profit margin) rather than the item that was best for me (reliability).

Disappointed that CP are unwilling to replace an unused defective cartridge, despite my being a regular customer.

I started ordering from Cartridge People during the early days of the pandemic, when it was difficult to get supplies, and I'm still grateful for the helpful service on that and other occasions since. But this time, something went really wrong: after I ordered, a salesman phoned me with a canned pitch trying to sell me on changing my order from the genuine HP cartridge to the own brand. (I'd ordered the own brand before, but decided the genuine ones are better). Even after I explained this, he was quite pushy, and by the time I hung up I was angry. When I ordered, I was asked to give my phone number for purposes of delivery, and assured that it would not be used otherwise. But this was blatantly a sales call -- of the sort that often rudely interrupts my work day -- and a pretty inept one. And it's occurring to me now that what I order from you I could go around the corner and buy at Ryman's ... so ...

The contact with you by our Customer Advisor should have been to check that all your details were correct before release and that you were aware of the full range available to you and see if it was possible to save you money by offering our own branded product if suitable. Ordered cartridges easily for years through cartridge people by logging into my account, now the log on facility is no longer available or hidden from view.

Got called within 30 seconds of the order going through stating they “never do this but why have you ordered OEM and not CP own brand”. When told that it’s better to prevent compatibility issues the hard sell began. Even after I told him the company pays and it’s nothing to do with me he STILL tried to sell the CP toners. On the plus side though, they were delivered the following day.

Product is fine, but I did not appreciate a 'marketing call' challenging my product decision trying to persuade me to change the order to a Cartridge People own brand item.

They wrte a little slow and osting out what I thought were genuine Canon Ink cartridges I recevied and own brand version(?) Probably my fault but if so they should make their web site a LOT clearer. Shan't be using the, again.

Unfortunately i was contacted and I agreed to substitute Hp with your own which my printer rejected resulting in me being out of pocket. Questionable if purchase from you in the future

Dear David Thank you for your recent order and review. Please allow me to explain the reason behind the movement in price. The majority of our compatible cartridges are purchased from China, as a result of the Corona Virus in Europe, the collection of empty cartridges, the main component used in manufacturing, has been severely impacted. The cost of empty cartridges in China have therefore increased. In addition to the above, we have received a 5% increase in postal costs If you take these price increases and currency fluctuations into account, you will see that we have not passed all of them on to our customers. Bought the canon selphy ink and paper set as part of my daughters birthday present. Unfortunately, it was posted in a plastic bag. It arrived battered and bruised and no good to give as a gift. As i Didnt have time to arrange a return. I had to buy it again on primes next day delivery - a much higher cost but it arrived packed in a solid box and looked new.

I very recently bought print cartridges from Cartridge People for the first time. Unless the quality of print improves I will not buy from Cartridge People again. I purchased 2 x Colour and 1 x Black. As an incentive to switch from HP to CP brand I was offered an extra Black cartridge. The "incentive Black cartridge" was never delivered. When I used the cartridges the "colour" was awful. I phoned CP to explain. I was advised to take out the cartridge and clean it. I duly cleaned it and it was fine for one print. Then it went into "awful". I cleaned it again and it was fine. I am now unsure - will I get "fine" or "awful"? If I come across a colourful page I print it out to "test" it. I will go back to finding a cheaper alternative to HP but Cartridge People will not be on the list! kennardevans@yahoo.com See attatched photo showing: very low ink and a Triangle with ! mark. Hardly inspiring!
