I attempted to return a recently purchased black toner for £60. Although I had opened the inner seal/bag and box, the toner itself had not been used due to the printer requiring a new imaging kit. I asked for either a credit or refund, but was met with a firm refusal. It is frustrating that the unused toner has gone to waste.

Dear Karl, Thank you for your feedback. I have looked in to your order with us and our returns policy does state that we cannot accept a return for an item if this has been opened. This is due to the fact that we cannot reseal the item and sell this as a new product. This Message to those hasn't shopping with these useless customer service company please be advised never try cheap quality products with very poor customer service , had ordered brother toner which misleading details the advertised and had to return them as they advised but over a week they have received back the returns and neither respond to my inquiry respond to my message or process the refund and i have called them twice still not helpful had not choice involve PayPal to help get the refund done. Guys/Girls be away from headache by not shopping with these guys

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your review. I have looked at your order and can see we have been in contact throughout your query. You initially contacted us on 18th May 2023 in which we did reply on the same day, unfortunately you did not receive this so opened a PayPal case which we replied to you on 22nd May 2023. I can see you contacted us as you did not have a refund and also sent proof of postage. We were awaiting on our warehouse to book the items in as there has been a backlog due to the bank holiday. When I order from your website genuine cartridges, I do not expected a phone from your sales team questioning my decision and wanting reasons why I had not purchased your own brand products. I am sure Epson would be well pleased with your sales tactics!

I ordered a hp 301 black cartridge, I’m unable to use this in my printer as it’s printer states it’s incompatible, hp 301 is the correct one for my printer ?

I purchased ink cartridges when you were claiming you wouldn’t be beaten on price!! The next day your prices went down!! So in my book I’ve been overcharged. My family and I won’t be using them again. Full of false promises.

I ordered 2 genuine hp cartridges then someone phoned me to convince me to try your own brand, I was not keen but he kept on so I agreed to try one genuine and one of yours. I received 2 of yours and 2 packs of paper which I did not need for the same amount I feel conned and will never order from you again

Calculator purchased for son who has exams. Paid for next day delivery as required with some urgency. Several emails from courier (DPD) saying item hadn’t been delivered as we weren’t in to collect. Emails included pictures of a property different to mine. Had obviously tried to deliver to wrong address. Final email from DPD stated item had been returned to Cartridge People. I’ve had no communication from Cartridge People regarding these issues or offer of a refund to date. Calculator was purchased from another vendor. Poor quality service. Cannot recommend.

I can only apologise profusely that the courier, DPD on this occasion, have failed to deliver your order. I can see that they attempted 2 separate deliveries over 2 days and I can only apologise these failed. Unusable! Ran out of ink while dealing with Power of attorney for my parents. The recommended own brand ink was so faint and blurred I had to travel to a relative many miles away to print. So disappointed as original ink for Epsom was not that more expensive. Really dissapointed as I wanted to trust I had made a good choice. Really hate leaving a negative review. Sorry!

Printer would not recognise cartridges,with the help of Siobhan we located the problem to one cartridge which she said she would replace immediately

I ordered a black ink cartridge 301 and went to pay with my card which was recognised by last 3 numbers but having typed in the 16 digits plus expiry date and the the security code for some reason it was not valid. So i contacted cartridge people via phone. I explained my problem and i was listened to by Chris who helped me complete my order so i am most grateful i was able to do so.

Have just had a call saying the cartridges I’ve just bought have a teaspoon of ink in them & do I want to pay more for a better product?? Why are they on the website in the first place if they’re rubbish?? This is dishonest & disappointing I’ve cancelled my order & won’t order from them again.

I received two cartridges and one would not work. I tried everything on your advice sheet to get it to work but for a finish I had to give up. I have had several cartridges from you over the years with no problems. I emailed you asking if I should return it but have had no reply so far

The web site didn't work so called in the order. The chap I spoke to was very helpful. I paid £6 for next day delivery. DPD sent an insulting message to tell me they had missed me, when the surgery had been open all day. In reality they had cut out the delivery as they were too busy. I e-mailed "Cartridge People" for a refund and never got a reply. Now they want a review. The possibility of repeat business is negligible to hell will freeze over.

My printing requirements are very sensitive to colour accuracy and over many years have found that compatible toner cartridges are not good enough, even though they're so much cheaper. After so much hassle from pushy salespeople trying to get me to buy compatibles instead of the genuine brand, I even asked them to put a note on my account to say no after-sales calls to get me to change from genuine to compatibles. Yet, with my latest order for an original brand cartridge, I got a follow-up sales call with the usual spiel of how much better the compatibles are than ever. The guy was so pushy I was practically shouting at him to stop pestering me to switch to compatibles. I can only guess that Cartridge People make a lot more profit from compatibles.

I ordered HP Cartridges online which I have used for years. Ten minutes after submitting my order I was phoned by a representative of the company who was VERY persuasive and "pushed" me to change my order to own brand cartridges. There seemed to be no downside so I agreed. This morning I inserted the first black cartridge which resulted in a succession of horrible blotchy prints. I rang the company and an advisor called Simon was very helpful and agreed to refund in full and sent a returns label. I am awaiting the refund. The whole experience has been very frustrating and a massive waste of my time.

This is not our usual standard of service, I can only apologise that this was not the case of this occasion. Our return rate is less than 1% Once we have booked the cartridges back into our warehouse, we will issue a refund back to the original payment method and advise you of this via email. I bought this ink on the understanding that it would work in my printer in the same way as the original HP ink cartridges do. Although I purchased it a couple of months ago in readiness for my ink running out, I haven't used it till today. I am very disappointed to find that the cartridges do not clip into my printer like the original cartridges, and they are therefore not recognised by the printer. What a waste of money!
