I ordered ink from cartridge people as it was the cheapest i could find and I needed the ink as soon as possible. However rather than sending my order straight out I received a missed call asking me to ring them. When I rang them I discovered there was not a problem with my order as I had assumed. They had rang me to try to get me to change my order from HP ink to their own brand. The website states that the contact number you provide will only be used if there is a problem so I was annoyed that they had used it to make a sales call. When I pointed this out the person I spoke to was very apologetic and said they would send my order straight out. If I had wanted to order their own brand cartridges I would have done so online but I didn’t as I needed HP - my printer will not work unless I use HP cartridges ! I must say the experience of being called by cartridge people to push their own brand when they should have been sending out my order, has put me off using them again !

I have previously ordered a Cyan cartridge from CP, which works well and is better than those from two other sources. So I have now ordered the other three of the set and the print quality in the first two days is much better than it has been for at least two years. I am happy with the price and the quality. I have a serious concern though about what your website deceptively claims to be ' free gifts '. I did have a look and decided not to accept any of the ' offers. Your website then asked me to look again, one 'No' should be enough. I just wanted to confirm the order, and was suspicious about the reason for the pressure. I did go through the list again, I selected two items. The Gadget Box was not a free gift, it cost £279.95 for a year and includes an immediate payment of £9.99. It also meant giving my bank details to a dubious source with the knowledge that such purveyors of free gifts can make it very difficult to cancel the order, or prevent the original sum or period being increased without any authority. The Coopers of Stortford might be of value, but I note that their own website is already offering a similar discount. Having rejected both Options it was concerning that I had a quick response from the Gadget scammers but not from CW to confirm the order. I am familiar with cookie software that tries to give the customer the impression, -possibly well-founded, that the order is dependent, consequential, or secondary to scam participation. So I phoned your help-line to check that the order had gone through. The gentleman was very helpful but raised my concerns when he told me that the ' gree gift ' section of the website is nothing to do with CW. Why should a reputable company hand over control of part of their public portal to such dubious concerns ?, - are CW paid for this access,? and what does this do for your image ? The product appears to be ok, only time will tell. However, very disappointed that I bought the items under a so-called " special Bank Holiday discount" only to find that a couple of days later and before I had received the goods the same items were being offered for sale at a cheaper price! I wonder where I shall by my next batch of printer ink ? ? ?

We bought two Cartridge world cartridges for our canon printer. The colour cartridge is working ok, but the black cartridge is awful, the printing is so faint as to be barely readable, its unusable and was a total waste of money.

Delivery arrived fast and proficiently. I believed that I ordered the genuine HP cartridge, but I got a different make. That should be ok as we used different makes before. When the coloured ink ran out of the printer, I replaced it with the new cartridge from you that did not work at all. My printer could not install it. I called your office and the person I spoke to a person that I found not customer friendly at all. He asked me to try out another cartridge and whether that would work. I asked for a replacement with genuine cartridges, but that was completely dismissed. Then he told me that opened cartridges cannot be refunded. That was a very frustrating communication that I do not wish to have ever again!

My order arrived quickly but I didn't appreciate the phonecall from one of the customer service team asking me if I'd like to swap to the own brand inks. I was given multiple opportunities at checkout to swap inks and I didn't so I don't want to be contacted further about this. I will not be using this company again as the call made me feel very uncomfortable because I felt as though I needed to justify my purchase.

I receive an email from Catridgepeople requesting a call back before the order being despatched. doing so. It was to sell me the compatible version instead - by a very insistent sales person. Very disappointed.

I have located your orders and can see that they were both placed over the bank holiday weekend and therefore were not able to be dispatched till Tuesday, once dispatched we advise 1-2 working days for delivery. I can see that one order arrived with your by Royal Mail on Wednesday and the other one by DPD on Thursday both within our stated delivery times. Normally fine service but last order was spoilt by a pressing phone call shortly after I made the order and in my car and so distracted, to change the order to a Cartridge People made cartridge. I had tried one before and it did not work and had to be returned wasting a lot of time. The salesman was very pressing and so I reluctantly agreed but now regret this and so and having to return the cartridges to get the ones I wanted. I did offer to keep them if they were willing to give compensation if these were not satisfactory but they declined. Disappointing.

I can see that you were called by a member of our sales team who called you to see if we could save you some money by ordering our own branded products, these were changed over as you agreed to give them a try. we do state on our website that if you have any problems with any products ordered from ourselves then we will issue you with a replacement or a full refund. I can see that you have decided that you don't wish to try these so my colleague has sent you a pre paid returns label to enable you to return the unwanted back to us for a full refund, once we receive these back and process the returns you will receive a further email from us to confirm that the refund has been completed. Although they were trying to help, they advised using their own toner and a YouTube hack would be enough, convincing me to change my order from genuine Brother parts. The hack didn’t work as Brother have updated their firmware. I would like to think Cartridge People would have known this. Now I’ve had to pay to print elsewhere while I wait for more toner. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Ordered original HPcartridges and was then phoned by Cartridge people convincing me to change my order to thier own brand cartridges , which i did. When the cartridges arrived they wouldnt work in my printer .... very inconvenient and situation is not resolved 3 days on.

I have now used C P for a number of years, and I still have a problem when I am ordering cartridges for myTS8251 printer. This particular printer has 6 cartridges NOT 5 as seems to be standard ! When I receive the here is your wonderful offer, it normally has only 5 cartridges, which means that I never get a really good offer from you, as I have to order the sixth cartridge at the usual extra price! I do not feel that you are dealing fairly with me by offering nothing when other users get all the slight benefits that you offer

The emails you receive may show various "bundles" of cartridges, some may not contain the Blue Photo cartridge for instance as this usually may not require replacing for most people's printing requirements. I cannot get these to work. They were working something I’m guessing updated and now I have to find out how to reset the printer to Hager them to work again. Each time I forget what I have to do, it’s a real nuisance. The cost is much better but then I end up with a printer that is out of action til I can do the research, again.

I am most disappointed that Cartridge People has joined the ranks of companies intent on driving older customers away. You now insist on customers re-ordering doing so from an account with the inevitable PASSWORD, which equally inevitably many customers will have forgotten. I re-ordered this time over the phone but do think you should enable orders to be taken online, allowing customers to proceed as 'guests' not subject to the rigmarole of password-mania.

Service was excellent for price and delivery. However when printing photos on my HP Photosmart C4680 onto HP Photo paper. The image looked fine however the HP compatible ink smudged giving dry dust onto anyone who handled the photos.

Good morning, Thank you for your comments regarding the price increase of your compatible cartridges. Please allow me to explain the reason behind the movement in price. The majority of our compatible cartridges are purchased from China, as a result of the Corona Virus in Europe, the collection of empty cartridges, the main component used in manufacturing, has been severely impacted. The cost of empty cartridges in China have therefore increased. In addition to the above, we have received a 5% increase in postal costs If you take these price increases and currency fluctuations into account, you will see that we have not passed all of them on to our customers. I hope that the above explanation will satisfy you, and you are reassured that we are trying to maintain the best prices and quality for our customers.
