Took over 7 days for me to receive my ink cartridges when called customer service were not very helpful at all

Dear Mr Clayton Thank you for your review. Further to our telephone call. I can only apologise for your order taking longer to reach you than usual. As you have experienced before, most of our orders are received within 2-3 days. Occasionally, Royal Mail do take a bit longer, and this will not have been helped by the Bank Holiday. We do suggest that customers check at the local sorting office should they not receive their order within this timescale, as sometimes Royal Mail, do not leave a card, by checking, this can often speed up receipt of the order rather than having to wait for goods to be re-sent. I can confirm that I have issued a refund of 20% back to the account the original payment was made from by way of apology for the inconvenience caused to you on this occasion. The black HP301XL cartridge was faulty and the printer would not accept it. I tried to remove and replace but it still did not work so I replc d the old cartridge that was a genuine HP and the printer worked. The hassle of returning and replacing or getting a refund is not worth it so it's been made ready to recycle. I won't use again.

Original canon cartridges are great obviously. But this is the second time I've bought non-canon ones and second time I've questioned my sanity. Terrible, terrible inks. Either clogged up and no ink coming out or too much and all over the paper. Utter tripe which Cartridge People should not be associating themselves with.

Printing ink came a week late as their supplier hadn't turned up and given it to them. I missed my deadline that i needed to print and had to pay for printing at the library even though i had just paid £25 for the ink from here. They were quite aplogetic

I found that the quality of printing is extremly poor especially photographs On my H.P photosmart printer no matter what I do I get an orange tint. I shall be reluctant to use your products again .I cannot see the ink levels as well Black and white tex is ok.

This is the second time I've purchased from cartridge people, and the second time I've had to return them. The ink cartridges just didn't work - in fairness, they were not the original's. Total waste of time, I certainly will not purchase any non-originals from you again. The support staff are a complete waste of time - they do not appear to believe a word you say. The only good thing was, my refund was prompt in being returned to me.

I am sorry to hear you have been unable to use our compatible ink cartridges. Firmware/software updates can tell the printer how to communicate, how to move motors, fire nozzles and most important of all, how to recognise original vs’ compatible (non-original) cartridge chips. Manufacturers update firmware which may interfere with the printer operations if using compatible or remanufactured cartridges. Firmware on the printer can then produce the message regarding low or zero ink levels if the machine detects a cartridge that is not a manufacturer's original cartridge. It can on occasion prevent the printer from accepting the cartridges completely. It appears this may be the case with you. We do stock the original cartridges at very competitive prices. I ordered 4 cartridges and they all arrived in 3 separate packages from Switzerland, none of which went through my letter box so we had to open the door each time. Very inconvenient indeed for us. The cartridges are all good, but I can get them from anywhere.

My printer won't work with these cartridges. The colour no longer comes true and I will never buy "look-alikes" again. A complete waste of money

Delivery times seem long. Other companies manage better delivery periods. The first cartridge tried was not accepted by printer, next took some persuasion but works. Fingers crossed for the other four! 50% success rate not to good.

I found it very irritating that each set of colours came separately, and the particular colour I really needed came last.

Deliveries usually arrive with within 3-4 days, from the dispatch date. However, our website states that Deliveries can take between 2 - 7 business days. We do rely on the postal service to deliver as soon as possible. We hold stock in multiple warehouses and utilise different delivery options. We ensure the optimum method is chosen to enable speedy despatch and transit by selecting the appropriate carrier and we may also opt to ship items in more than one parcel and from more than one warehouse. This helps us provide a prompt service, particularly for multi-item orders. We find this also helps you, our customer, as a smaller packet will usually fit through your letterbox, saving you a trip to your local sorting office or having to arrange re-delivery.

I ordered a black and a colour cartridges for my canon mp250 printer, I received them quickly but after carefully putting them into my printer neither would work, I may of been able to send back, but out of frustration I threw them away and bought more from my local asda, which worked perfectly. I was very careful when I ordered to get the right ones.

I thought the ink quality was very poor when I printed a photo, and I will therefore go back to a more expensive cartridge

Ordered a supposedly compatible colour cartridge CL -513 for a Canon printer. What can i say - my printer will not, whatever i do, recognise it. Took quite a long time to get to me as well!

Cartridge People own brand cartridges not registering at full when Inserted into printer. Contsantly getting error messages. Probably would not buy the own brand compatible cartridges again.

This is the 3rd time I've tried to use your refill cartridges and this time on a different printer (Canon) The colour cartridge has finished already and the red is printing yellow. It can't be any more than 20-30 pages printed and it's not volumes of colour, mostly highlighted colour over black and white print.

I went for the cheap price but it was a bad choice - online ordering OK - delivery OK but the 541XL colour cartridge is a refill and doesn't work - even after following all your recommendations - so I wont be ordering again - I am too busy and need products that work - I am not inflexible - just need the products I pay for to work

I ordered 5 compatible cartridges(2 black and 3 single colors) for my hp printer officejet 6830 pro. I tried a black and 3 single colours in my printer and not one of them worked. My printer said they were broken. I rang the person on your helpline and he did try to help me. I took them in and out and turned printer on and off all numerous times, but finally thought it might be hp software that was preventing them working. Your staff was very helpful. But apart from this it was terrible as it held me back for days. Please don't say they are compatible if they are not. It is no use if they won't work for every single person who has this model of printer. I have ordered from cartridge people many times with my previous printer, but will probably not be ordering from here again. If I do it has certainly put me off compatibles.

We sell thousauds of compatible cartrtidges with very limited problems. On occasions depending on the software in your printer you can have problems where the printer refuses to recognise the cartridges. HP are trying to make it as difficult as possible to use compatible cartridges but the supplier of the cartridges are trying to update their software. I phoned to complain that your compatible Epsom cartridges were not working on my printer/I Pad. With colour photo copying.My complaint was acknowledged and accepted . I then purchased from you genuine cartridges, which worked. Your staff member then said that if I sent the compatibles back a refund would be sent. The person then said that they would send an e mail to inform me as to the address to be sent. Still waiting as this e mail has failed to come.WHY .?
