“Initial enquiry was responded to quickly, I travelled over an hour to see the car and speak with Robbie and was told 'yes yes yes' to everything and basically promised the world which turned out was not the case. I understand after the first couple of issues that Robbie said he was new, however, after the first misunderstanding this then should have been supervised by someone who was more familiar with the business and process for the customer as there were repeated issues. I was actually made to feel very stupid about buying a car when in fact I was pretty clued up during the process but was being mislead on different occasions. This lead me to getting my partner and family members involved as I felt as if I was not being taken seriously and false promises kept being made to me then taken away. After receiving my new car, sadly there was still issues with something I had been promised which again took weeks to fix and I had to go out of my way to take my car to the garage when it should have been fixed prior to the car arriving.”
“The car buying experience at Peter Vardy and other dealers is not a good one.. What is all the delay and pantomime about , getting prices/deal drawn up, sales person wandering around the car store, referring to manager/ trade in person.... Keeping you waiting for 2 hours . It would be so much better if you were dealt with efficiently rather than feeling like you were being worn down to agree to a deal that you really were not happy with. Eventually left the store as not happy with trade in. To be contacted next day to finally get an agreement. The salesman knew my husband expressed interest in another car and if we had not felt like we were being played, we could well have bought two cars instead of one - now my husband has no intention of tolerating that treatment from any dealer. If Peter Vardy woke up to how some customers react to being treated this way they could well get more sales, its not just myself and husband who feel this way having spoken with friends on many occasions. Finally, what on earth is the new admin fee, which is something that never existed when my husband bought a car four years ago - another scheme to squeeze more money out of customers or remove to let you feel that you have got a bargain!”

All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, and they were quick to contact me about a minor issue before pick up to save me a wasted journey. Hand over team was efficient and thorough, and the only delay i faced was from the finance company, which couldnt be helped by the staff in store. Fantastic experience and would highly recommend.”
