“Viewed and expressed interest online, got a call to come up to view the car and pay the £100 deposit, arrived on the day to view the car to be told the car wasn’t at the Dundee car store. Agreed to go back up after the weekend, went back on the Monday, car was still not there, again agreed to go back on the Tuesday, arrived and seen the car which was a complete mess inside. Agreed that am happy with the car if they details I picked out had been sorted, ie all stains removed inside, bumper fixed, a mud flap screwed back in and the black alloys tidied up, never heard anything for a week, then got a call to say car was ready.. went up to sign for it, car was just out of being cleaned, very poor standards of cleaning. The key issues I asked to be done have not been done. Had to valet it to a high standard when I got home. Took it to my coachwork friend to look over and have been informed the car has previously been smashed, has a whole new driver side back panel.. this was never mentioned. Been advised the work that was done in it is poor and some rust clusters bubbling which will cause future high costs to body work... not an impressed customer.. after buying my first car brand new from Peter Vardy, to be sold this one shows there’s no care to returning customers..... will be making a formal complaint about all the issues and service.”
“We came across Peter Vardy Dundee whilst looking for a second hand car. It was a new experience for us. The concept of the CarStore was amazing the draw back was the car we picked was in Motherwell and after leaving a deposit it took eight days for transportation to Dundee and after we said we wanted the car it took another week before we could pick it up. We were not in a hurry to purchase a car so not too perturbed by this but not everyone is able to do this. I have given five stars because the salesman (Bobby Miller) and other members of staff were extremely good. When handover day came it was well organised and went smoothly. My only complaint would be the customer contact during this period of time could be better and yes we would go back.”

“sales staff ok, after sales horrendous, had my car since last Friday, only had it a week noticed a steering fault needed new rack so Dundee could not carry out this job so told on Monday my car was on way to Edinburgh to get repaired, today wednesday get call from warranty company asking for permission to pick my car up,to say astonished would be an understatement, the lying toads at Dundee said my car was in Edinburgh. Will never go near them again, in fact looking at rejecting the car as not fit for purpose, they mot,d the car week before I got it wish I had involved vosa”
“The car I wanted was on the ramp and so I couldn't test drive it. As I live far north I had to go home then travel back to get the car. They would only keep it for me for a week if I assured them that I fully intended to buy it. I expected to get a test drive when I returned to make the purchase, but I wasn't offered a test drive. I therefore wasn't aware of the wobbly wing mirror (a minor fault but nevertheless it's annoying.) I informed the CarStore of the problem, and was advised to get a quote from my local garage for the repair, as I live so far from the sales room. The manager phoned me and offered to reimburse me for the repair, and so the situation has been quickly resolved and I'm happy with the outcome.”
“Purchased 2 cars from the CarStore. Received the first one quite quickly but there was a delay with the second car. Communication about the delay wasn't great but was made up for by the car being delivered to our home address once it was ready.
