Transfer created March 11, 2024 11:31:09 GMT Refunded March 11, 2024 Transfer #995745829 Refunded to Name: CARDYARD LTD Reference P1AE70A This is all the information about the funds returned to CardYard They are trying to defraud me, trying not to pay me, when they paid me the money worth £448.9, and my bank returned the money to Cardyard, this must have happened since 11/03/2024 and since that date I have been trying to contact Cardyard and no one replies, it is very bad support. I am upset and afraid that I will be a victim of a scam. I just want them to send my money back but they say that they did not receive the money when the money was returned from the bank. I am sure that the bank returned the money. I contacted the bank and brought the invoice. And confirming the return of the money. I sent the documents to CardYard support yesterday, but they never respond to my messages. CardYard also deactivated my account on their site after the previous review I wrote on trustpilot. I don’t want to write this publicly, but support left me no choice. I don't want to tarnish anyone's reputation, but I advise this site to improve their support. They are not cooperative at all. They make you feel like you are working for them like a slave. I want my money and I have no problem hiring a lawyer and filing a case on this site and losing ten times this money in exchange for closing it. This site, I want my money!!!!

We have found out that the bank account you asked us to pay into was created in the name of somebody who had their ID stolen and it was not created by them but by somebody pretending to be them. This caused the individual a lot of hardship over the years as they received demands from credit card accounts created in their name demanding payment for purchases made by somebody else. There is scamming going on here, but not by us!

Rubbish company won’t help me complete the id check. It “failed” and apparently I don’t live at the address. Offered to provide any information even send a pic of my front door but they just ignore me on chat. Sold £800+ of gift cards already (still not been paid and as mentioned no reply from customer service so probably a scam)

You supplied high values of cards so we asked for ID but were unable to verify it. You offered other ways of completing the ID check but they were not acceptable I'm afraid.

Sacam Don't you want to compensate me for the £50 that you fraudulently took from me in the first place? There was no balance in it. This is a scam.

I give up on this site have tried contacting them by phone and can't speak to a human. left messages and very poor response time getting back. Really need to get the customer service sorted.

Very poor customer service from Card Yard. I purchased vouchers to the value of £300 only to discover that they had already been redeemed by someone else. I tried to call but was met with an automated message that nobody was able to take my call. Then tried contacting Card Yard via online messenger, communication has been very slow and very poor. They've given me minimum information about their "investigation" process despite asking for these details. I very much doubt I'll see a refund for this and will have to go via my own bank. Poor show from Card Yard, very disappointed customer.

Estimated pay date on the 27/12/23, and still waiting...Now 6/01/24. Customer service haven't responded to me in over a week. Can't use the card I've sent, and have taken my £40 code. Wouldn't use this site again!

Wonder if all these fake 5* Reviews are from Staff? Absolute SCAM!!. Get you too enter gift card details and pin then take the money from it. Then send you an email saying gift card invalid? Yeah because your a bunch of scumbags!

Hi Lee, do a balance check of your card and you will see it was spent 4 days before you entered it into our website. You can't accuse us of spending the card when we knew nothing about it when the card was spent. If you had the card in your possession on boxing day, then you know who spent it on boxing day. 4 days later you sent it to us!

Please remove this website because it is not legal anymore! It will ripp you off and the customer service is so rude! They don't care about customers... i have been selling my gift cards for almost 2 years and now I have decided to stop it! What a scam they are! When I have 2 gift cards, I usually sell both at the same time, because in that case they will send you more money. If you send 1gift card today and 1gift card tomorrow you will get less money for your cards!!...I had complained about that to their customer service(agent Nicky - disrespectful old lady) and they pretend that everything is normal..... I sold more than 80 gift cards and this is a disgrace. They assure me that everything is alright and I know it is not because amount for the 1gift card(Uber) when you decide to sell it through paypal is 7.61£ and if you decide to sell 2gift cards at the same time you will get 16.21£ which means 8.10£ per 1 card in that case. They intentionally rescheduled my gift cards so they can pay lower amount... Agent Nicky didn't respond on my messages when she realised that they ripped me off!

That's ridiculous and ignorant. We are trying to help you by providing a service and you make these upsetting and false allegations. You also made a wholly inaccurate derogatory statement about one of our staff who went out of their way to assist you. We pay £8.60 for an Uber £10 gift card. You want cross border payment into Paypal, so they remove 99p and you get £7.61. You get double payment for two of them = £17.20, and Paypal withhold 99p so you get £16.21. If you wanted a single payment, you should have submitted a single sell order, but you chose to do it in 2 sell orders, and the cards sold on different days, so you got paid on different days, and paid PayPal 99p twice ya big nana. Having looked into this its clear you are based outside the UK, but we are a UK only service, so its about time you stopped using our website, thanks.

At the start things went smooth then afterwards, I bought a card worth £269, and realised it was a used card, then I reported to customer care after showing proofs and much waste of time, she said they wouldn’t refund me, and if I wish to make any more enquiries I should contact the card company directly!? And next thing they didn’t let me buy or sell anything

I’m a potential new customer but once my account was opened and I made my first purchase my payment card was somehow a security issue despite being ok everywhere else. I was then asked to confirm my personal details by sending it over email, this is obviously a security issue itself so I have cancelled my new account, I won’t do business with a company who suggests insecure verification .

I have been blocked from buying or selling giftcards. Nobody replies to phone (you just get a recorded message), email or online chat. Why? Is this customer service. I just want somebody to assist.

Just a scam. I bought a gift card, as I received the email with the code, I try to enter it to receive the specific amount, but is not working. It says is been already used, so they selling used codes. Please don't use those services if you don't want to lose your money.

As a customer, I had a huge pain dealing with returns. They claim they cannot accept returns because the item is digital which is exempt from law protection. They say I can resell the item in their website. However, my item is longer accepted. What a joke.

We had a correspondence about the differences between an Apple Store card and and Apple Gift Card. Not once did you say you wanted to return the card. Is this what you want? I assume it is so have initiated a refund according to our refund terms.

Bought 2x£50 Amazon Vouchers from this company on the 24/12/2022 (amongst other vouchers which went well until now) but they came invalid and already redeemed. Tried to resolve this in a civil manner by providing all time stamped proofs that the products were already redeemed prior to being dispatched to me. Currently still trying to resolve this but Cardyard is trying to shift the blame to me because the seller “is a long standing client” and “was adamant that they did not spend them”. Not impressed so far. Let’s see what they do to rectify the situation but Trading Standards will certainly want to know about this. Sent me an email after noticing a first negative on another review site stating “we are not shifting the blame on you” and “accidentally sent emails intended for the person who sent us the card”, which I seriously doubt is true, that was from 26/12/2022. Since then no update or reply from these customer service agents. I think I am going to have to go through the Consumer Ombudsman to get my money back which is a hassle. Would avoid them if I were you.

You received a full refund for this case. You very quickly left this 1* review mirrored on Trustpilot which caused a lot of difficulty, time and expense. You said you would avoid us, and we have assisted with this by deactivating your account.

Bought a Pandora gift card with a value of £500 a few weeks ago (checked the balance on the Pandora website as have had issue before with the amount being wrong). Still had £96 left on card after first use and the expiry date is Oct 2013 so plenty of time to use. However on checking balance today, it is down to £1. Someone else has managed to use this gift card!!! But as it is after the 42 day guarantee, I'm not holding out how that I will be able to get any of the £95 back. I assume the original seller has kept a note of the gift card details and has used it, even though they sold it on CardYard. This is the second time I have been done out of money, so think I'll be giving this company a wide berth from now on...

You have received a full refund to your payment method. The first we heard about this was when you left this 1* review. It would have been much easier if you had contacted us directly instead of carrying out your business through a reviews website.

Caution is required when purchasing as some gift cards carry risk. What is the risk, cards purchased should be checked instantly as its possible the value of a card is not loaded with the full amount purchased. Equally, fully loaded cards should be spent ASAP because holding onto these cards and believing the purchased value will remain available throughout the cards valid period could allow parties who had or have involvement with card serial numbers and pins an opportunity to spend or transfer the cash value.

You should only purchase gift cards from Cardyard when you are ready to spend them, and then you should spend them as quickly as possible. Indeed we only offer 42 day balance guarantee.

They steal my money!!!! Don’t sell your gift cards in this website! They said the gift card has been used and they took off £300 of my gift card!!! DONT TRUST THEM!!!!

We had a lot of correspondence together, and it is very clear the buyer could not have spent the funds on your gift card and we had to refund them. This meant we had to take a refund from you. Be careful who you deal with and make sure you get your gift cards from reputable companies.

I wouldn't even give them one star, but had no choice. I uploaded a gift card to sell on the website. The link to the card was working before I sent it, and there was a balance of £100. They then said it was in quarantine for two weeks, then someone bought it, but guess what? They then said the card didn't work. So they've either pocketed this themselves or not checked the balance before letting someone buy it. I wish I'd checked all the reviews on all the sites before using these. They owe me £84 for a £100 gift card, and if I don't get it, I'm taking it to the ombudsman, and warning others via popular websites.

As discussed with you, this card became invalid. It wasn't spent, it just stopped working, and you can see that yourself when you try to open it. There are a number of reasons why this can happen and we recommend you get the person who supplied the card to go to the retailer and find out the reason they have decided not to honour the card.
