“The vouchers are generally fine, the site is legit and I've saved a lot of money on this site, but the customer service is slow, unhelpful and rude even when the problems were on their end - will be looking for replacement sites, don't have the time or energy to beef with them.”

Is this to do with the Amazon £1 Voucher that had a typo and was corrected but you then didn't want it so we offered you a refund under our Ts&Cs but you had an issue waiting for the refund?

“Purchase cards of a substantial value to use at Halfords which was accepted with no problems, I only have one criticism is that when I went to buy the cards I was then notified that I was only allowed to purchase 3 cards so had to recalculate my purchase, I’m not 100% certain if I missed the limit whilst negotiating the website or if it wasn’t there if the latter it should be made aware in the initial write up, otherwise thanks you saved me a good amount of money”

Hi Clive, thanks for using Cardyard and for taking the time to leave a positive review. There is a mention of the Halfords 3 card restriction on our Halfords buy page, and if you have more than 3 Halfords in your basket then enter and progress through our checkout, a warning message appears which is informational only. You can still continue and purchase more than 3 from our website, but you will only be able to use 3 Halfords gift cards online on a single purchase, but can use more in-store. “I’ve had an account with Cardyard for just over a year now. I intentionally waited a full year before providing a review, so that I had enough to time to experience the service fully. I wanted to provide an honest & informed review that would truly reflect the service I’ve received. I’ve sold a multitude of Gift-Cards over the last 12 months & cannot praise Cardyard enough for their exemplary service. The communication has been prompt & regular with EVERY sale & all payments have been received within the suggested timeframe. After reading a few unsavoury reviews here, I can only deduce that the vast majority are composed dishonestly & with malice. For anyone thinking of using this service, I urge you to carefully read through the Terms & Conditions, understand the process fully & you will find that your experience will be absent of any flaws. The reason I make this suggestion, is due to my bewilderment at how my year with Cardyard has been perfect, whereas others’ experience has been [allegedly] appalling. In my opinion, these harsh reviews are being left by those who ignore the terms & get frustrated when their own actions have caused a problem, a lengthier wait time or an unsuccessful listing. I’m a stickler for detail, so before joining I versed myself what is required from my end. Which is why, I believe, my experience with Cardyard has been faultless. In fact, for a small business like this, I cannot applaud them enough. Thank you for a smooth service, timely & concise communication/updates & a very fair exchange rate. I look forward to another great year with you. Well done to all at Cardyard. Long may this relationship continue.”

It means a lot to us for such a considered and well researched review to be positive and end with a nice plaudit. I too hope we can provide a good service into the future and continue to receive your unwanted and high quality gift cards. Your thoughts on others 1* review concur with mine. We used to get a lot of 1* reviews from customers who turned out to be confirmed fraudsters, but those days are mostly passed. There's usually a germ of justification in the 1* reviews we get from sellers, though its true there is often contribution to an error by the seller. Our systems can always be improved and provide better error detection and guidance which is what people expect, though a gift card exchange is a real challenge. “I am so grateful to Cardyard for a great way to save money. Banks give you 3% a year Cardyard gives me 3% discount, sometimes more in 1 second. It gets your favourite items and allows you to save money at the same time. I would keep it a secret but want to say thanks to Cardyard - it's all been good. Amazon, ASDA.Thank you.”

“I’ve sold 3 e-gift cards with cardyard . I was initially unsure of “parting” with them as they were pretty high value , however the steps I had to follow uploading ID etc was easy enough and verified quickly . My first card sold immediately and there’s a waiting period ( quite rightly ) to ensure honesty at your end too . The money was paid into my account in the day they said . My 2nd transaction took longer as the card took a while to sell , but when it did the money was paid swiftly after the waiting weeks . Very happy with their service”

“Cardyard delivered what they promised, both as a buyer and a seller. Delighted as it's the type of service I wish I'd discovered years ago. As a seller the money hit my account exactly when promised. As a buyer I was gobsmacked, the cards arrived literally within seconds. “Hi I have bought over a thousand cards now and saved hundreds of pounds. If there is a problem, Mike and Demi the nicest people you could meet. “Very surprised to have received a Review request from the Owner "Mike" after my exprience with them this last week or so, having already left an unflattering review and my CY account-as far as I can see being barred. But not being one to refuse a polite request: Card Yared are great until something goes wrong, instead of simply dealing with their problem, they made it mine. I judge a firm on how they deal with problems and CY fell at the very first hurdle.”

“I thought I had done my due diligence, Cardyard seemed to be the most reputable-infact the only real game in town. I only put in a small order to start with-which went really well....so I ordered an £80 Tesco ( BE52EAB) which was declined in store. Got on cardyard's Not-Quite-Dead Chat (Kudos to them btw for still having one, however poor, we of the hearing impaired community find them invaluable.) Was told , very politely, an investigation had been launched and I should hear something in the next 3 to 4 days, which is absolutely disgraceful, took me seconds to confirm with the Tesco website that there was a problem with the card. You sold me a fake card and I want my money refunded...the HOW of how it happened , whether it was incompetence or dishonesty interests me not.”

“Amazing service, time to sell gift cards can be fast sometimes but also slow but as soon as all are sold 2 weeks later as promised paid directly into your bank account got the exact amount they promised to pay couldn't be happier”
