Time scale from ordering to delivery was terrible no communication and quality of the sheets weren't even worth using for the job.

Ordered online product in stock. Order confirmed. Another email saying order being dispatched. Then emailed that product was not in stock and no idea when it would be available again. Did I want a refund. Yes I emailed back. Took a few emails and phone calls before money was refunded.

I ordered a piece of pegboard. Next day I had a phone call from someone who had ordered the same thing and found the contact page already filled in with my details! She doesn't know me from Eve, but kindly rang me to warn me what had happened. I had to then block my credit card, since there was clearly a glitch in the company's system for privacy and so I didn't know if my credit card details might also have been compromised. Probably not, but I didn't take the chance.

Avoid, miserable customer service. Phone goes unanswered. This is the second request for a review and it will be the same as the first Ordered 2 small pieces of Finnish Birch on the 5 August, paid £10 for delivery and I'm still waiting.

after waiting 5 working days for a delivery update I called them up and they informed me the order was lost. No reimbursement for expensive delivery cost offered. They told me it would arrive 3 days later at the latest it arrived 4 days later. Very very poor customer service won’t be using again.

I placed my order online and followed it up with a telephone call, as I needed the delivery between specific dates. I was told that this was no problem, it would arrive the following Tuesday, between the dates that I requested. Tuesday arrive but the delivery did not. I phoned again, only to be told that my order would be delivered on the Thursday, still within my timescale. First thing Thursday morning, I received an email telling me that the materials that I had ordered the previous week were not in stock but would be delivered at a later date, outwith my timelines. I once again phoned, this time to cancel my order. It was duly cancelled and monies refunded immediately, with no hesitation or apology. Very poor service.

Placed order on 1st August it's now 15th August still waiting for product to arrive, when I rang for an update on my order they said it must have got lost in the post,( 2 foot X 1 foot board ) easy to misplace. This is the second time they asked me to leave a review.will never order or bye from this company ever again ☹️

Are you joking? It's been two weeks and I still havn't received my order. First of all your web site went crazy and multiplied my order by 26! My bank spotted the huge amount and alerted me just in time. Then, unknown to me, it changed my delivery postcode to some random city. I only became aware of this when I tried to track my order and the shipper's web site said the post codes didn't match. Hopefully, my order will arrive after it's travels around the country - last heard of in Edinburgh.

Bought a fire-rated MDF online. Got notifications by texts about progress: order progress, confirmed, ready to dispatch with 48h. All good so far - delivery 3-5 days. After 9 days, nothing turned up. Chased Builders Marketplace by email. Got a reply back with no apology stating item is out of stock and refund process. Why take the order and money from my account when out of stock and send notifications for despatch and nobody there bothered to let the customer know or informed. A waste of my 10 days. Very poor service. Avoid!

Order went through ok and accepted that it would take 3-7days to be delivered. I received an email on the 7th day to say that the items were out if stock and could not be delivered! Not good customer service!!!

You sent me an email confirming despatch very quickly but after 5 days when it didnt show I called the office to chase. I then found it was not despatched but would be despatched immediatly. Order turned up the next day but was wrong items ! All very frustrating as we have now missed the day we wanted items by !

Absolutely atrocious company to deal with. Sales rep are really up their self and once they have your money you’ll only get bad news upon upon bad news. Avoid.

Wood ordered on 20th July 3-7 working days. Date now 2nd December, no sign of order yet !!!!!!!! Disgraceful service.

The oak architrave that arrived from yourselves was the worst quality I've seen in 40 year's as a builder and is totally unusable, can't imagine why it was sent.

This is the second time I have been asked for my review so would suggest that you most certainly do not read all the reviews. I am now 12 days awaiting my delivery and the only contact has come from my end, very poor. Ian Stocks
