“The print quality on your lustre photographic paper is truly excellent. My only comment is that the paper buckles, so that the non-spine edge of the book looks wavy. I mentioned this to your helpline and was given a voucher for free replacements. Sadly the paper in the replacement books soon became buckled too. You must have come across this problem before, because I cannot be the only person whose pages on lustre photographic paper have buckled. If you have a solution to flattening the books, I'd be very grateful to hear of it. That said, I remain very satisfied with the reproduction of my black-and-white images.”

“My rating is for the final product - I was extremely pleased with the help I recieved from the staff and final product. Very professional. The only caveats I would mention - and this is meant in a constructive sense: 1. I found the software tediously slow. I think this was exacerbated by my file sizes. An upfront warning and recommendations would have been appreciated. 2. I didn't want to use any of the provided page layouts, though I did want to duplicate the one I created for myself. I never managed to do this, so I had to line everyting up for each photo. I think there may be a method but I never got it to work. 3. There were other bits where the software was a bit flaky but I could work around those. As I said, please take this in the manner in which it is meant. I was very proud to present the book I created for my brother. Both he and I were thrilled. For anyone interested, I used the gloss, silver halide finish for black and white reproduction.”

Hello Barbara, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. I am glad to hear you were pleased with your photobook, but sorry for the problems you had with the Bob Designer software. If you are using quite large files, this may cause your computer to run slow, you may wish to resize your images before you start working with them when making your photobook. It is also possible to design and save your own layouts in the software. “Excellent photo quality results which are always received well by my clients. Anything that makes my photography look even better is a good thing! Seeing clients' expressions as they look at their photo albums for the first time is a great moment that really boosts my ego! They love the photographs and the album layout shows my work off to the best advantage. Well done Bob!”

“I was extremely pleased with my photobook. It looks expensive and is great quality...I chose the Matt finish and would highly recommend this. It was really easy to do on my phone and would've been quick if I didn't add so many extra pages! My book cost approx £80 but I feel it was worth the money and it has made an excellent and very special gift. It really looks a step above other high street offerings.”

“This is the first time I have used Bob books and I am pleased with the result. I didn't find the colours quite as true as others but once I'd mastered the page layouts I was delighted with the range of options available. The service and the packaging were very good.”

“The design software is pretty good and easy to use. However as we use the professional package there should be and option to close the bar at the bottom that shows the price, as there used to be on the older version. We really like the lustre paper and the print quality on this is very good. However we do regularly receive books that aren't quite made right or have arrived damaged. This is generally resolved but does cause delays in us Delivering our services to our clients, which is not good for our reputation.”

“I had a bit of a problem with the first print of my latest book as the pictures were very dark. Once I reported the issue the books were quickly reprinted and the results were just as good as ever. Friends who see the books are always amazed by the quality. Thanks Mike”

“I've tried various different companies for photo books and and calendars over the years and bob books is by far the best in terms of print and paper quality. I have had some technical problems with the bob designer software but their staff are extremely helpful when trying to sort them out. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“Very easy to use software. If any issues just ring and the team help you to sort it out. Very quick and efficient service. On an occasion where we were not satisfied, the team checked the upload, and a new book was ordered immediately. Have used for professional and private work, and always been extremely happy, that is why we always use Bobbooks!”
