“These books are a great way to remember special events or as a photo album. The programme is easy to use and the results are very professional. I give one to my grandchildren for their birthday each year to remind them of all the lovely and exciting things they do each year. Highly recommended!”

“Very good but there is a limit to how many pages you can have. I think it's 98. We wanted more and had to reduce the number of photos. It's expensive but we are please with the book. Next time hopefully you will expand to unlimited number of pages.”

“I have used other companies to produce phonebooks swayed by offers on pricing. I have then come back to BobBooks. The quality of the finished item is excellent: the colours are true and the paper quality is better than others. The software gives plenty of options for backgrounds and effects: more than I have ever found necessary to use. It's also easy to learn to use it. I did encounter a problem when I tried to use the option that allows you to build your book online: I suspect that my connection was not fast/reliable enough. I switched to downloading the software and uploading the finished book and this is fast and straightforward. The book was made and dispatched very quickly, well within the time stated on the website and it arrived shrink-wrapped and carefully packed with the corners given extra protection.”

“Product is stunning. I was very impressed with speed of delivery, the fabulous packaging and when I opened it, wow I was delighted. I'm hoping my mum has the same reaction when she opens for her Christmas present.”

“Such good quality books and high quality printing compared to mainstream websites. The software is really easy to use and gives lots of flexibility. I've made 5 books so far, the glue came away a little on the spine between the cover and the first page on the smaller hardback books but the lie flat large square lustre book is perfect. Very professional finish and high quality thick paper. As an aside, it would be good to know how they recommend cleaning pages if things get something spilt or sticky fingers as wiping with warm soapy water was not a good plan!”

“We have used Bob Books for several years for photobooks, calendars, canvas photos and most recently for foamboard photos. We have always been impressed by the quality and also rapid dispatch of our order which has always arrived within a few days, sometimes within 2 days at no extra cost. The only drawback is the cost but you pay for quality and they often have discount vouchers which make a big difference.”

“Generally happy with quality though I have had one where pages fell out. It is a bit annoying getting emails saying I haven't done anything with the photos and that they will be deleted when actually I have already made a book. Overall good though perhaps little pricey compared to other photo books .”

“Simple to understand and easy to use for a non-techie, the whole experience was great fun and the results extremely professional. Delighted with our wedding album, and have since made another as a gift. Both orders arrived promptly and very well packaged. Absolutely no complaints and can't wait to start my next project.”

“I love the flexibility of bobs books but because I use a Mac I find the website is continually crashing and at times I have lost everything I have saved. If I have a project that is long running and can't be completed in one sitting(e.g. I am doing an album of our grandchildren's first year) I have found that weeks of work have been lost. Your support staff say there is no conflict with Apple however I haven't found this to be the case. I would love to be able to use Bobs books on regular basis as I have had some good albums of holidays in the past but the unreliability of the software at the moment rather puts me off. Great shame as there is such potential if only you could get this conflict sorted out.”

The Bob Designer software is compatible with Mac and should not be crashing. The reward points you claim are valid only on the standard, if you would like to use it on the logo-free Pro software you just need to get in touch with us and we can provide a code and remove the points from your account for you. If you have already redeemed a code you can provide this and we can get this changed for you so it is valid on the Pro account. “Excellent service. The standard of product is high and the turn around from ordering to delivery is quick. I had a problem linking my photos to the photo sources section of Bob Books, this was due to a problem with my computer, Bob Books quickly resolved the problem by emailing easy to follow instructions. I find the process of creating a product straight forward and there is plenty of scope regarding layout. Overall a really excellent product and excellent service.”

“Software for entering images is a bit clunky - it was difficult to make sure that the cover was as I wanted it. The helpline operator said I couldn't do what I wanted to - to stretch one image over front and back covers - but you can and I did - and the promised callback from her superior never came. Read all the instructions very carefully. The first book that I had made came back disastrously over sharpened. There is a box you have to tick if you don't want your images 'improved'. But after that the books were very well printed and packaged, and arrived in good time.”
