The software is great to use and its easy to make a professional looking book. However, I can see there is a problem with the finished results: many, if not all, of the darker photos which I lightened up using the bob software came out dark, as if they hadn't been edited at all. Could there be an issue somewhere here? It bothers me quite a bit but not the recipient who loves her book regardless of some too dark photos!

Hello Richard, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. I am so sorry you received your order like this. The issue appears to have been caused by our matte paper which can print a little darker than our other paper stocks. I have sent this to our customer care manager to look into. Beautiful quality book but had trouble uploading photos Maybe was because just before Christmas???

Thank you for sending your feedback. I am so sorry you experienced problems uploading your images. To answer your question, if you used our Bob Designer Desktop software to create your book then you should not have experienced problems uploading your images as the images used need to be saved on your computer, you only connect to the internet when you upload and order your book. If you used the Online Book Creator, as you are working online you do require good internet connection, and if it is slow or cuts out you will experience problems uploading images, making changes and saving your book. If you used the Bob Books App, again the images are pulled from your device. If they are saved in a shared or online folder then you will need to have them directly on your device to access them in the App. I hope you found this helpful, please contact our customer care team on 0203 011 1644 or email askbob@bobbooks.co.uk if you experience these problems again and they will be happy to help.

There is a problem with Bob book's printer. It has left what appear to be roller makes or consistent stain lines on the back side of the left page. These lines stand out on the pages that have a plain back ground. I contacted Bob Books about the problem and they sent me a reprint or though they corrected the colors the makes were still dominate. I can't recommend bob's books until they rectify this problem and reprint my book with top quality printing.

I have seen examples of Bob Books photobooks which were excellent and so was expecting a high standard for the calendar I recently ordered from them. I was a bit disappointed with the print quality which I would say was inferior to the Photobox calendars I have had for the last few years.

Nice cards, but not quite the print quality I was expecting. The colours of the photo on the front looked very heavy as if the photo has the contrast ramped up, which it didn't.

I have taken a look at your files and it looks like you placed your order through the Bob Designer software and the Automatic Image Optimisation was on. Prompt service and good quality book. Shame you don't do captions. Also the title on the front was completely obliterated by the picture. If it had been placed a little lower it could have been seen against the background.

Our current iOS App does not allow you to include text on the content pages, however this is something we hope to implement in our future updates. In the current App you are able to edit the colour, size and font of the title, to ensure it shows up will against your background image. 1 I was told that the book I'd created for my son's 40th in 2014 was no longer available. I created a book for my daughter's 40th and when I signed in I discovered my son's book was available to me. This would have saved me so many hours of research and time. I received my daughter's book and I rang and asked for a paperback of hers and her brothers for me. I was toldd that I would have to submit my photos again but when I went in many of the photo's were missing and I don't have the knowhow why or how to retrieve them. So BobsBooks lost out on two more sales by not being able to use my original books to reproduce into paperback books for me. I was disappointed and frustrated. I requested to the gentleman I spoke to last to email me an "Idiot's guide" of how to retrieve my photos and he said he would but I never received one. If there is any way I could order these books then please contact me. Thank you.

Always receive a good service from Bob books but unfortunately my last order had issues with the printing and binding. They have agreed to replace with the minimum of fuss. Not the best quality books in the world but normally well printed.

I needed help with uploading photos which seems to change each time I do it but did not find the help call helpful at all and in fact it ended without helping me at all. In spite of difficulties I can't find a better way to make photo books so will keep using Bob Books.

Generally happy with quality though I have had one where pages fell out. It is a bit annoying getting emails saying I haven't done anything with the photos and that they will be deleted when actually I have already made a book. Overall good though perhaps little pricey compared to other photo books .

I love the flexibility of bobs books but because I use a Mac I find the website is continually crashing and at times I have lost everything I have saved. If I have a project that is long running and can't be completed in one sitting(e.g. I am doing an album of our grandchildren's first year) I have found that weeks of work have been lost. Your support staff say there is no conflict with Apple however I haven't found this to be the case. I would love to be able to use Bobs books on regular basis as I have had some good albums of holidays in the past but the unreliability of the software at the moment rather puts me off. Great shame as there is such potential if only you could get this conflict sorted out.

Quick response but I was disappointed that the cover picture and one internal picture were clearly misaligned I accept that that despite my final check that it may still have been an error in my own alignment but when it was that obvious I would have thought it could have been corrected or contact made with me before printing

Responded quickly to a problem by arranging free return and reprinting. Unfortunately, the reprint didn't really solve the issue. However, this seems to have been a one-off as previous books have been fine.
