“I'm always very happy with your books. This last time I think tried a new paper, the matte one, and I was not so happy with that one, but i think it did not suite my type of pictures, so, it was okey to have tried it anyways.”

“I started making large landscape photobooks of my wildlife photography trips 12 years ago, initially using KodakGallery, then MyPublisher (both since closed down) and more recently Bob Books. The colour reproduction of Bob Books is perfect and the best I have seen. The quality of the photobook construction is also extremely high and customer service excellent.”

“I chose Bob Books because I was looking for an excellent quality photobook. Yes, they are expensive, but worth the money imo. I also really like the ease of use of their online system and range of artwork options for backgrounds etc.”

“I love working with the Bob Books programme, I find the layout options very intuitive and love that I have full control of the layout in terms of photo placement, overlapping, backgrounds, borders, text, etc. I hate working with programmes that only give you set templates. The printing on photographic paper always turns out well.”

“My only concern is that the printing is generally very heavy. In one instance, I did complain and it was reprinted, but I do not like to complain every time. Blacks are very heavy and solid, and images tend to be printed darker. I now lighten images specially for the books, but it doesn't totally resolve it”

Dear Roy, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have checked with our customer care team and unfortunately we were unable to check whether the Automated Image Correction was turned on or off during the creation of your book, which may have caused your images to come out darker than anticipated. We can offer you recommendations on calibrating your monitor, if you would like to do this before your next book. This should give you a more realistic preview of how the images will appear in print. “This was the first time I have used BobBooks. It was recommended by a friend. For years I have used Photos on my iMac to create my photo books. I loved using this software so the change was a bit of a learning curve. My first book was very good, the format slightly smaller but well finished and the photo quality was very good. I like that you can drag and drop in a photo from other files on my PC. The editing options are good. I would have liked to be able to shift single pages into different places rather that a double page. (Or maybe one can but I have discovered how yet!) I also enjoyed using the font options. I would like to see more 'handwriting' fonts to chose from however. So overall an enjoyable experience and very good outcomes. I will be back!”
