Hi Martin, We were sad to read this as we see that you telephoned your order though and the discount was applied to your order by our sales team. I have looked into why you may not have received the code, usually this is because your email service sent it to spam but that could not have happened because I see that you have successfully subscribed (the code is in the confirmation email). Hi Cherie, I'm sorry to hear that your free sample has not been delivered. The sample was dispatched on May 7th with Royal Mail who are experiencing delays due to Covid-19,so I can only apologise that this has not been delivered. If free samples have not been delivered within one week, we advise customers to contact sales@best4flooring.co.uk and we will happily dispatch replacements. Received the samples very quickly, went to order On the same date received but 2 of the 3 samples sent but were out of stock Why send Samples when they can’t be ordered!

Hi Christine, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback and we can only apologise that two of the three free samples you ordered were out of stock. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, demand for flooring has been extremely high and our manufacturers are currently working on skeleton staff so supplies have been very limited of late. An answer to my request would be nice, only part delivered, needed to purchase underlay elsewhere, asked to collect underlay when it came and no response.

I am very upset . I requested parcel left in safe garage if U was at work ! As it happens I was only out 30 minutes I had no warning delivery imminent just that it was due Thursday . The TNT driver did not try to contact me did not leave at a neighbour both sides were in and willing to receive parcel . He just drove off leaving a note to re book delivery . I tried to call TNT to ask driver returns as only 25 minutes away . He did not come back . As such have not received and had a man arranged to lay Lino Thursday evening !!! Do not happy . TNT are the worse carriers never worry about clients !! My suggestion yes another carrier company .

Still haven’t received the samples after one week. Under the current circumstances it is understandable but will pass order soon so might have to ignore this. One thing is getting those follow up emails which actually remind me that I still haven’t received the samples ...

Arrived quickly but flooring damaged in places and not cut straight one 2 sides (although we were given excess to make up for the cut not being straight)

I ordered a couple of samples but they were so small that they were pointless and did nothing in way of giving an idea of how the flooring would look. They weren't even one complete pattern.

Hello Jacqui, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on your free sample order. The 'Edward' and 'Forget Me Not' samples you have ordered are cut at 22cm x 30cm to give a better interpretation of the design so it is disappointing to hear that the samples were not to your satisfaction. Only gave 2 stars as I never received the vinyl adhesive I Payed £5.99 for...the vinyl itself is beautiful..other than the fact that it's not fitted properly due to not receiving my adhesive,I love it.

Hi Kelsey, Sorry to hear that your spray adhesive did not arrive with your order, but thank you for bringing this to my attention. After speaking with TNT, they have confirmed that the spray adhesive was damaged in transit but nobody has notified ourselves of the issue so i can only apologise for the inconvenience. Our vinyl came 1” too short and there was a tear in it which luckily was in a part where we were putting the shower so it didn’t matter. Other than that good choice Of flooring and delivered on the day it said it would come

Fast and efficient. However, the delivery man doesn't give much time I didn't nearly knock and he went away without waiting for me to open the door. He came the next morning and this time I watched him come from the window. He gave a tiny knock and seemed he wanted to drive away. ( even though I have a door bell which he never used!) But I was by the window and opened the door and shouted hello. What I'm saying is he should have rang the bell and stood waiting until I opened the door. I'm disabled and if there's any one else ordering from your website I would give it a miss, as the delivery drivers have no time or patience for disabled. That's why I'm only giving 2 star. I'm very disappointed.

Unfortunately although the flooring was exactly what we wanted out of the eight packs we ordered two were damaged and as we only had the men in over two days to fit the floor in our new kitchen they had to improvise to make the other packs fit. So very disappointing.

Hi Nicholas, Sorry to hear some of the flooring was damaged on arrival. We pride ourselves on resolving any issues promptly, if we are made aware. Damage or delays during transit can occur and this is outside of our control. For this reason we advise that fitters are not booked until the flooring has safely arrived and if there are any issues we ask they are reported to us without delay. Unfortunately we do not have any record of your contact about any damage, only of your request for an ETA on the day of delivery which was Monday 4th Feb. It's great to hear your fitters were able to work around the damaged planks and assume the wastage allowed for this. Best wishes, Best4flooring

Frpom the sample I recieved, the colours are weak, they look a bit faded. I am worried about the quality. Would it last long?

Hi Carol, The free sample you asked for is the Sintra 92. As per the product page this design replicates the old Portugese ceramic tiles. The 'weak' and 'faded' colours are part of the distressed appearance. It has a felt backing and 20db acoustic insulation, is water resistant and comes with a 15 year residential guarantee. You will struggle to find a better quality cushioned sheet vinyl. I'm sorry you chose to post a negative review instead of ringing or emailing to seek clarification. Kind regards, Best4flooring

I was not happy you mentioned the product is water proof when I used it the material of the product when water spell on it the colours gone bleached this is my first experience and was not good

Hi Duja, Ocean Painted Wood is a water resistant flooring which has been installed in countless bathrooms. It does not 'bleach' from a simple water spill. Samples were too small unfortunately but seemed nicely cushioned. Will make a decision after Christmas over whether to order

Hi Angela, Sorry to read your review just now along with the negative 2 star rating for the samples that we sent you free of charge. We do state the size of samples on the website which I assume you saw before ordering them. We also offer the opportunity to get larger samples for a fee but note you didn't opt for that. We usually get complimented on the size as we send larger samples than most online retailers but if you find someone who sends samples of our designs in bigger sizes at no charge we would love to know. Ordered a piece of bathroom vinyl, I was sent a piece over 10cm too short, didn't realise this until the fitter had come to fit! They did immediately send a replacement which arrived a few days later, just disappointing that the initial order was incorrect. The flooring itself was nice, however it did differ in colour from the photos.
