“Best4 flooring were absolutely fine . The problem was with DX the courier - the delivery driver literally threw into the hall of the house . The floor had recently been sanded and stained . No consideration , he was running late and that was that .”

“Website easy to navigate and order, tools all on hand to use to calculate costs. Delivery information clear (only reason lost a star is it was 1 day late) but this may well have been down to the delivery company. Excellent price for the quality. would definately purchase from Best For Flooring again. Thankyou”

“The samples provided by the company were very useful, though they did establish that the colours were not what we wanted. The fashion for grey seems to have extended into greens unfortunately.”

“The lino I purchased was superb quality for the price I paid. The only problem was it didn’t arrive at the depot in time for it to be dispatched on time to me, meaning my delivery date from DX was put back into the following week. I was on a tight time schedule so to miss the delivery date was catastrophic. However, after contacting DX I was able to pick the Lino up from the DX depot myself. If it hadn’t been for that hiccup, I would be giving a 5 star review.”

“I ordered quite a few samples. There was no charge and the sizes were good. When I contacted them they were helpful and clarified things. As I had lost track of what I ordered. Prices are also reasonable and quality looks good too.”

Hi Darius Thank you for your feedback. When ordering carpet, we always recommend allowing a little extra to ensure the best fit. As part of the manufacturing and cutting process, there can be a small tolerance (up to approximately 15cm), which is standard within the flooring industry. When measuring for flooring, it’s important to measure wall to wall at the widest points and allow extra for doorways, recesses, and any uneven walls. Ordering slightly over your exact measurements helps accommodate fitting adjustments and ensures a smooth installation without shortages. “I like the pattern on the vynl. However, it is described as black & white but is black & cream. It arrived on the day requested and within the time frame stated but it had a large area creased in one corner. It has been fitted and the creases are dropping. The pattern has helped disguise where it is.”

“I chose best4 over other online flooring companies because of their delivery options and ability to book a specific delivery day. Delivery was sensibly priced,rapid,and friendly driver. Vinyl was great,only issue was several small splits on edge of the roll, overall happy with finished look and got a great quality vinyl for a fraction of the price on other sites.”

“Vinyl itself is lovely, bright & vibrant. Certainly brightens up my porch, easy to use, cut & stick down. Packaged well. Delivery not so great - took the day off work after booking specific day. Turned up hours late at 8pm in the evening!”

“The flooring is excellent,bit pricey per pack, arrived on time. Delivery cost too high. Also I was not happy with the delivery driver, knocked the door and got me to unload it from van and carry it to my property. Not exceptable. Especially for delivery cost”

We're sorry to hear you felt the flooring was expensive. We strive to offer great value, and in this case, the product was reduced from £32.99 to £24.99 per sqm, with an additional 5% discount applied following your sample order. We believe this represents strong value for the quality provided, We’re sorry to hear that the delivery service did not meet your expectations. As per the terms and conditions the delivery is a kerb side service and due to insurance reasons unable to enter you property however the courier should unload the flooring off the van themselves this is certainly not the normal level of service received from the courier and this will be escalated with them. We also understand your concern about delivery charges. These are set by the courier and start from £14.95, depending on order size and delivery service. However if you are not happy with the delivery cost customers are always welcome to use their own courier if preferred. Kindest Regards Best4Flooring

“Ordered some free vinyl samples (x3). They arrived quickly & the A4 size gives a you a really good idea of what the item would be like in situ. Good quality and on par with other companies, good prices also. Unfortunately none of the samples was quite what I was looking for at this stage and have gone with another design from another company. But I would keep this company in mind for future samples & possible sales. Thank you so much for the samples & sorry we couldn’t do business this time around.”
