“I purchased a pressure reducing valve and noticed I could get free delivery if I spent £40 or more, so I bought 3 adjustable wrenches. I was very impressed by the wrenches but have not yet used the pressure reducing valve. only slight niggle was that package was delivered next door and the packaging was damaged although nothing was missing.”

“Only 4* because the description and photo did not indicate or mention lack of infra red link for a printer. However, as it was required quickly and does the job despite no printed result, the service and delivery were first class. Thank you.”

“Product (poker blade) is superb and I've used them for years. Only negative is that they use UPS for delivery - THE WORST delivery company in the UK. BES customer services were brilliant. Stacey managed to get hold of someone at UPS who clearly put a bomb up the local delivery folks and, finally, the package was delivered. 10/10 for BES; 0/10 for UPS.”

“As with any online retailer, delivery seems to be the weak link in the chain. I've had a few orders from BES and they've been faultless. However I've recently had issues with UPS and not received items.”

“I have been very happy with the service up till now. However, on the last order I had four items and on line I was told the immersion heater was not in stock. I phoned and was told stock had just come in and if I ordered it would all be shipped that afternoon. When the order came, the Surrey Flange I ordered had not been sent as it was not it stock and would be sent on later. I waited a week for this item to come. Could job I had not stripped the old tank out. Having said all that, generally the service is very good.”

“Product is good. Order was dispatched in a timely manner. However, I had to go and pick delivery up from a central pick-up point, even though I had asked for delivery to be left at back door if it could not fit through letter box. This request was also printed on parcel. Maybe printed information could be in bigger text for ease. Product could have also fitted through the letter box. However, 1 x 22mm & 1 x 15mm compression fitting were sent out in a box that was maybe 2/3 the size of a shoe box instead of a padded envelope?”
