“My order was delivered late to a collection point rather than my address, which is what I paid for. This meant that I did not have the parts in time for the job which they were ordered for. I accept this is down to the courier rather than BES, however after 5 days I have still received no response to my complaint nor a refund of the delivery fee which I paid. Very poor customer service and I will not be using them in the future”

Dear Fran, Thank you for your feedback. Sincere apologies as your original order had the wrong street name which meant the order went on the wrong delivery van. The next day it looks like it went out again but no one was available when delivery was attempted and so it was sent to a UPS access point where you had to collect your order. Your delivery charge was the normal £4.95 which is standard. Instances like this are thankfully rare and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Regards, BES

“I'm a new customer and was really impressed with the range of items available. I made a silly mistake placing my first order and bought some items of the wrong size. I sent them back and received a refund without need for any correspondence, form filling or any hassle. Great service, though the delivery costs preclude placing very small orders.”
