Website is excellent as is the catalogue. I take issue with the next day delivery as UPS can't deliver to my location end to end and I have to wait three days! Screwfix use Royal mail and can offer nation wide next day including very remote islands where I have been working. Please look at this or our engagement will be short lived.

Delivery wasnt good. He didn't stay long. Had to get the parcel myself.

Part was incorrect but BES corrected quickly ,, Delivered direct to door Prefer this quicker response all the time .rather than UPS pick up point , But BES is generally very good .

The product and service was absolutely fine, my only issue is,the initial ad said free postage on orders over £40, it only tells you at the checkout,it's £40 before Vat,,sneaker eh.

Very good service from BES, who followed up on clarifying a partial address and shipped in good time and with accuracy. Less encouraging service from their courier, who left my parcel in the refuse bin outside my house rather than at the door!

The product I ordered was half the price found anywhere else, and I was suspicious... indeed it was not available, and I had to phone to be given the advice it might not be available for a very long time... (if ever?) I did get a refund.

Only just acceptable as the instructions for a valve did not make it clear which face side the rubber washer fitted so I telephoned the technical department to which I was asked if I was a plumber which I am not and the TECHNICAL ADVISOR told me to get a qualified plumber! JUST BECAUSE I ASKED WHICH FACE A RUBBER WASHER FITTED ON sorry but I don't think that it such a technical question.

Dear BES Your company and range are fantastic, but your choice of courier is very, very poor. UPS (apparently alone amongst delivery companies - dpd, royal mail, amazon, white arrow, parcel force etc, etc) don't apparently bother delivering to our house (in a village 4 miles from Sevenoaks). I ordered a day-critical package (gas leak/no cooker or heating) and called you next day to ask where it was. Apparently UPS had come to the house (where my wife was working all day - in sight of the drive) and found no-one in. They apparently left a card - we didn't find it - and dropped it at an access point '5 miles away. Interestingly they also ignored the special delivery instructions "if out leave inside the blue door". It is hard to conclude they ever came here, but I (and you) paid for carriage... Heating World of Spares use a different career ... I would very strongly suggest you do the same. They get stuff to me on time. Sorry, harsh but true. Best wishes Sevenoaks Gas PS I asked my family, and they don't remember seeing the brown vans or uniformed people that are ULS in this Village... Interesting (we've been here 15 years)

Mr Ioannou, Thank you for your feedback, however, we were surprised to read. After a quick search on the web we were unable to find a new Gas Semi-concealed Meter Box Lid anywhere that is cheaper than BES. Please note we provide FREE delivery for all items over £40 (Ex VAT) Regards, BES

Customer support from Nick was superb, pity about the products (meter doors). Both were in worse condition than the ones I was replacing, sent them back.

All is great but delivers should be free after £10 or free not on £50. You will sell more people will not shops if you do that.Regards

Very prompt and efficient service, Goods well packed and entirely in accordance with their description. Unfortunately there were a number of small tears in the fabric which I had to mend before installation

The radiator valves ordered was a good price , easy to order and came in record time. However, you failed miserably by negating to put my name on the parcel (ANYWHERE) working for a mail order company that has a very busy good in dept. This caused the goods in dept having to open my parcel because someone hadn't bothered to put the name on there. To add insult to injury, I stipulated on the order reference my name which again wasn't on the front UPS printed label!

Quick delivery with the correct bits at a good price. Postage and packing is high and could be reduced if smaller packs used. My stuff would fit in a small Jiffy bag but came in a box a 1000 times too large.

What can you say about a washing machine hose. It's a hose! Pushy on delivery. I didn't need next day delivery and I didn't want to pay for it but that's what you get with no options
