For the second time I have been supplied with a product type which was not ordered and differed from the item selected on the BES website. The product despatched was inferior to the one ordered.

Not the easiest of companies to work with for a commercial customer. The invoices are terrible they dont show the statement or whats in credit etc. When asked i get no answers.

Thank you for your feedback. We are slightly confused as all items purchased are invoiced immediately. Also account customers also receive separate statements itemising invoices etc. This is standard practise and has been in place for many years without issue. Easy to order online but most prices are no longer competitive. BES offer next day delivery but can turn up anytime of the day which is poor these days as many carriers text a delivery slot. Only use when I have to.

Item I received was spot on and at a decent price reasonable delivery time. The box it came in was huge the correct size could have saved me a lot on postage and reduced so much waste

Our postage remains at £4.95 regardless of weight which is competitive in the market place. Plus all deliveries are FREE when spending more than £50. Products are good, delivery fast. The only problem is that I did not want the big catalogue they included (waste of paper and postage - required a much bigger box because of this!). Also, I do not want to be pestered by emails after an order. For these reasons, I would not use them again.

When ordering you have the option to opt out. Our postage remains at £4.95 regardless of weight. Plus delivery carriage is FREE when spending more than £50. Thank you. We are confused by your feedback. Your order was delivered to Yorkshire and you were charged £4.95 for delivery (less than £50 order value) The delivery charge would have been the same if you had your order shipped to Portugal. Regards, BES

the parts came on time and good packaging . However , i did request to not have the brochure sent . Its obvious I use the internet. Not only did i receive a brochure in the parcel another was sent . this is a waste of paper and printing ink both of which can be harmful to the enviroment .

I left instructions to leave with the neighbour if not at home. I left the keys to my friend to fit it while I am away. But instructions where ignored, had to go back home to get the part myself. 8 hours wasted in total. Great. Won't be buying again.

When I first started using BES a few years ago it was great,but due to the erratic delivery drivers my opinion has gone down somewhat,I'm still waiting for a delivery that was supposed to have arrived on the 8/11 !

Good, quick despatch. Order (for pipe thermometers) did not match advertised details. Order returned (paid for by BES). Refund given but not for carriage. I asked why? Carriage then refunded. Overall quick pleasant service, but advertised specification entirely incorrect. Their Question and Answer referring to these thermometers, given on web site, also incorrect.

Ordering and delivery were second to none. The wire colour quoted on the diagram and that on the cover label are different. A brown wire mentioned is not there. My concern though is that the motor remains energized after the program is shut down if either circuit is calling at this time. Switching the power off at mains for 30 seconds will clear all latches but this is a poor design that contribute to high temperature and no doubt will shorten the life of the unit.

First time I had ordered from BES and due to paying by PayPal my order wasn’t dispatched as promised (email validation was sat in my junk mail) I needed the order urgently for a customer so they made me pay £5 to post out next day! As I hadn’t received the order due to their policies I thought they should have wavered the extra charge. Won’t order from again due to this.

Was hard to place first order, still haven’t received security email to my hotmail account. Had to send an email to gain confirmation to dispatch the order, hence why only 3 stars.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Our IT team looked into the point you raise and are puzzled slightly. Your Order Confirmation, Dispatch and Invoice emails were all sent as per normal. It may be that you have two email addresses as we do not have your hotmail address registered with BES as you originally registered with a BT email address.
