Out of the box the Traveler will only run on the small gas canister with the EN417 fitting (Weber product code 17846).
However your correct in advising that purchasing the Weber Adapter Kit 8482 will allow it to run on the larger refillable gas cylinders with the 27mm Clip on Propane fitting.
