“A disappointing customer experience. The item (Kamado Joe Classic II) was found to have several areas of damage (chip and scratches) upon unboxing. The first response to me raising a query was to be told that it wouldn't affect the performance of the item. I followed up stating that the item was of unsatisfactory quality and was informed I could re-box the item on the pallet and they would arrange collection and refund. I asked for a replacement to be shipped but apparently "it is not possible for us to guarantee that a replacement would not have the same small flaws, and so we can only offer you the collection and full refund". I am puzzled by this response and their reluctance to supply me with a replacement. I will now have to source it elsewhere at a higher cost (I purchased during their recent 20% sale). Given how expensive these products are I don't think I am being unreasonable to expect it to be undamaged.”
