It took over a month for the order to arrive because one Lark rubber foot ordered was out of stock. At no time was I notified that there was a problem with the order so I was expecting it to arrive within the 5 days as quoted on the website. This was in spite of sending a reminder email to Bass Bags after 11 days that I haad not received the order. I had begun to suspect that the delivery had been lost in the post. Perhaps a method of dealing with pending orders could be put in place so that notification of the delay is sent to the customer. It has changed my confidence when placing orders with Bass Bags.

A good range of double bass strings, and amazing customer service. Went above and beyond by calling me to check my order and by pursuing a difficult to locate product. My order arrived promptly and well-packaged. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend to others

After getting some very helpful advice on the phone, I bought a Dorfler Bow Cello Pernambuco No.16. I am really pleased with it. As a beginner, it has transformed my playing and the sounds that my cello makes. I've also ordered a new set of Prelude strings and they are on the way. Ill have to save up for a new cello though! Looking forward to a long relationship with this company.

Local to me and went in search of a new violin. The shop has a great selection of violins, cellos, double basses and many accessories. The instruments are mostly new and with a very good range of quality/prices. I spent some time trying various violins in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Made two visits to arrive at final selection, (including a change of strings to my preference) and my purchase was set up to my exact playing requirements for collection within 48hrs. Highly recommended.

My order states delivery within five working days - no chance! After nine working days I finally received an email that Bass Bags had booked a courier, but that the courier had not collected it yet. For a ~£400 item this is not the quality of service or communication one would expect. Yes, things go wrong but keep your customers informed! This item is a present for my wife but I still have no information as to when it will arrive. Greatly disappointed.

I ordered 4 pots of rosin, it arrived quickly and was well packaged, and one of the cheaper stockists...possibly only Amazon was cheaper in fact. Definitely recommend Bass Bags.

My wife along with two young children had to collect a large box from the Post Office because the courier, DPD, was too lazy to deliver to us as per our order. Despite being in the house a card was pushed through the door with the ultimatum that if the item wasn’t collected by a certain date it would be returned to the sender. I suggest to any potential buyer of products from Bass Bags do not order from them if they use DPD. I emailed the seller twice but received no reply from them…..make of that what you will. A very poor service!

Fantastic customer service. I ordered a cello case and having checked it before sending they picked up on some scratches. I was promptly sent an email to advise of this and options to resolve. Cello case received within days and perfect quality.
