“My order states delivery within five working days - no chance! After nine working days I finally received an email that Bass Bags had booked a courier, but that the courier had not collected it yet. For a ~£400 item this is not the quality of service or communication one would expect. Yes, things go wrong but keep your customers informed! This item is a present for my wife but I still have no information as to when it will arrive. Greatly disappointed.”

“I ordered 4 pots of rosin, it arrived quickly and was well packaged, and one of the cheaper stockists...possibly only Amazon was cheaper in fact. Definitely recommend Bass Bags.”

“My wife along with two young children had to collect a large box from the Post Office because the courier, DPD, was too lazy to deliver to us as per our order. Despite being in the house a card was pushed through the door with the ultimatum that if the item wasn’t collected by a certain date it would be returned to the sender. I suggest to any potential buyer of products from Bass Bags do not order from them if they use DPD. I emailed the seller twice but received no reply from them…..make of that what you will. A very poor service!”

“Fantastic customer service. I ordered a cello case and having checked it before sending they picked up on some scratches. I was promptly sent an email to advise of this and options to resolve. Cello case received within days and perfect quality.”

“I received the double bass cover on March 2nd. It has many handles and is very easy to use, which I really like. thank you very much. It is very similar to the case designed by Mr. Takashi Yamamoto and made by Eastman, but it is no longer available. It's so good that I wish I had bought another one. Susumu Kiwata”

“I am delighted with the combination strings I have received for my Cello . Larsen Soloist A & D ..Spirocore Tungsten G & C . The strings arrived when you said they would - well packaged . What a difference to the sound of my French Cello ..singing sound at the top & the wonderful rich sound at the bottom ..particularly enjoy playing my C string now 👍 I read your comprehensive guide ..& as a consequence , now have a set of strings which show off my French Cello to the best 😃 I have recommended you on FB & Instagram ..the sound now produced is so, so much better ..& friends have noticed 👍 So ..I’m delighted 😃 Thanks 🙏🏽”

“I’ve bought two stools for my double bass over the years and was lead to believe that they were specifically for double bass. However, the first one was essentially a drum stool and the latest one (the stool with a back rest) was actually a ‘guitar/ keyboard throne’. Both fit for purpose, however it should be made clear on the website that one is not buying a stool that is bespoke for double bass. This particular stool should come with an Allen Key to prevent the seat from having any ‘play’, because it actually rocks from side to side unless you tighten the screw with an Allen Key (not what you want when you’re sitting with a double bass!”
