“Tried the rag top cleaner in place of my usual product. It did a reasonable job but nothing special. I applied it twice and used two different brushes but the green algae marks are still visible. Will try again during the season to see if I can achieve better results. The car is a 14 year old low mileage Porsche Booster S.”

Hello and thank you for your review :) Everyone loves a soft top, especially during the summer! However, it can be difficult to clean a convertible when you haven’t got the right tools to do it properly. Luckily, here at Auto Finesse we have just the right products to help you get the job done. These are our simple steps that will help you keep your convertible clean, whether it is vinyl or canvas. How to clean a canvas convertible car roof: Begin by hovering your soft top and use a brush to remove any loose debris. Rinse the top of your vehicle thoroughly to loosen any remaining surface grime. Apply Rag Top Cleaner thoroughly – Wait 10-15 minutes for the product to fully saturate the cloth. Brush the top using an Upholstery brush, and then rinse. Repeat until all of the dirt and debris is removed from the cloth. Dry the soft top by patting it with our Drying Towel. Wait for the soft top to completely dry (preferably the following day) Next, spray your Rag Top Protector in a light even mist and leave it to dry completely. Once the product has dried, apply a second layer. Apply 2-3 Coats for best results. Using Crystal, wipe down your windows to ensure they are clear.

Hi Jay, Thanks for your review. The inside measurement of the bucket is 250mm so most scratch shields will fit inside it. Just make sure you check the diameter of the scratch shield before you buy one. If there is anything else i can do to help, please let me know. Many thanks, Team AF

“Great products as always. This time ordering I filled my basket to an amount where I would get free delivery, but was unable to select that option at checkout it just kept reloading the page which would default back to the £4.95 delivery option. Eventually after loosing patience I paid the delivery charge.”

Hi Tim, Thanks for your order! I'm so sorry you waited so long for your order to be delivered. The delay in delivery was caused by the offer we had that Bank Holiday weekend being so popular. We always try to make sure every customer has their parcel within 3-5 working days, and with losing one working day that week it pushed everyones orders back one day. “Was impressed with how the towel dried the car but not impressed with how much fluff it left on the car!! Had to go over it with another cloth to get the fluff off....”
