“Instructions very poor the 3 door with 2133 opening has considerable gaps either side when fitted and they are set up right plumbed levelled and squared,no trims to finish off a very poor quality product which im thinking of taking out and replacing with a better system”

Hi there, We're very sorry to hear that you're unhappy with your product. Our team member Izzy had a phone conversation with you yesterday clarifying some information about a required drill bit size, but this was the first we'd heard of any problem or dissatisfaction with the product. When installed correctly, there should be no considerable gaps inside the frame work. Regarding your concerns about trims, this product does not come with architrave or skirting, nor is it advertised as doing so. Architrave and skirting aren't part of bifolding doors, and are optional additions that are down to the end customer to source and fit. Having now called you to discuss the issue, you mentioned that you should probably have bought external bifolds for your project instead. Internal bifolds are simply room dividers, and cannot be expected to have the same sealing and sound proofing properties as external sets. While we welcome feedback in all forms, we feel it is unfair to rate an internal bifold as 1 star against your expectations that required an external set. All the best, The Aspire team

“The doors look great and work well and, with the excellent instructions, are easy to fit for two skilled people. However I felt they only merited 3 stars as the glazing units are permanently housed without glazing beads and should a double glazing unit fail it would be very difficult to replace.”

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write us your review. We're very glad to hear that you're happy with your product. With regards to the the glazing, the doors that you purchased are cassette construction which means that the doors are built around the glazing, omitting the need for beading. In the unlikely event that the glazing fails, you can simply purchase a replacement panel direct from us. This works out quicker, cheaper and neater than trying to have a custom replacement glass unit installed into an existing door. “Good product (Vision) and very happy with the end result. It's not suitable for the amateur to install but my joiner was impressed with the product and did it all in a couple of days. There were enough spare parts to provide door stops which would be a worthwhile addition for future improvements. Good quality hardware and excellent customer service in terms of original delivery and extras that I requested. Happy to recommend!”

“Very good quality doors given the price. Comprehensive instructions, screws, frame fixings were all included with the door set. The only, relatively minor problem was that parts of the instructions were a little unclear, or late - eg. detailing fitting of a retaining screw into the bottom of a door that was already hung.”

“Found Aspire after doing a google search and I’m so glad I did, ordered the door on a Wednesday arrived Friday amazing service the door was packaged so well.. I love it .. oh and the driver was so friendly and kind .. definitely recommend Aspire.”

“The bi-fold doors are not pre drilled and even the frames are not cut to correct size. This is not like Ikea furniture, you can expect to waste a lot of time measuring up, drilling, cutting and routing. Had this amount of work been made clear at the outset, we would not have ordered these doors.”

“Excellent telephone service when ordering. Excellent customer service and speed of delivery. I love the doors and the competitive price. This would have been a 5 star review but I know my experienced carpenter struggled with the fitting of these doors.”

“The delivery was quick and kept in touch. However the folding door set was awful. The instructions were poor. There was a big gap between the top of the doors and the frame. And they are not very stable - the one bottom lock is insufficient for the size of doors. All this was not obvious from the photo (which shows it as a tight fit). Spend more and get folding doors from another place.”
